Before I start writing my story, I'd like you to know that all of the following characters go to Square Enix and their work, I have nothing to do with it. I also don't know too much and don't know what i'm doing so this short message may sound a little weird, haha. I'm also too much of a slacker to fix many spelling mistakes so I hope you understand what I'm writing about.

I hope you enjoy (it's my first post!) !

"Home is where the heart is"- Gaius Plinius Secundas

'You sure got that right...'

'.....'

''Even though, my heart will always rest with you, Sora.''

Beyond the palm trees of Destiny Islands, across the salty, clean sea, is Kairi's home, and of course, all her friends too. A girl of only 15 years, Kairi has already seen deep into the darkest parts of the universe, and has lost 2 of her childhood friends. Though deeply shrouded with curiosity and hardship, she makes her way with her head high and glows with her radiant smile. It would seem that nothing is wrong.

''Kairi, why the long face?'' Selphie, Kairi's friend, plucks up in conversation. Minutes after Kairi's chat with herself, Selphie catches up with pace, and tugs on Kairi's arm. Another smile yet again, its contagious.

''Hahaaha, have you been listening to my thoughts? You must know exactly what I'm thinking, huh?'' ''Yes of course..'', she chirps away. ''You're wanting to play a little blitzing down on the beach! Tidus and Wakka are already there, so you better follow my psychic mind readings!''

The two laugh, and it echos through the fields of flowers; through the open, little, cottage like houses; into the surfs waves and through the skys, orange arc; Kairi wishes that he could hear it, whoever he was, out of anyone else in the world right then. She just wanted to be wrapped in his toasty warmth where she could look up into his eyes and tell him exactly what she felt.

''Well Selphie, I just don't think I'm feeling it today, sorry.'' Kairi sighed, and began strolling off again. ''Wait Kairi, why; is there something wrong?'' Kairi waits a moment, gazing out beyond the hills.

"Do you remeber those two boys who used to hang with us?'' She starts. "Riku?''

''Yeah.''

''I wonder whatever happened to him? I sure miss him.''

''He's far away, but I know we'll see him again.'' Kairi smiles, glad to clear that problem up. ''Sure, of course we will!'' Selphie encouraged Kairi, her moss, green eyes alive and energetic. Kairi lowers her head; ''And the other boy?'' ''What other boy?''

''The one who was with Riku and me all the time, we played together on that island. His voice always used to be there, but now it's gone. I can't think of his face, or his name; I feel awful about it.'' The girl slowly brings her face up; ''So I told myself... I'm not going to the island until I remeber everything about him''. Kairi's burgundy hair wisps about and she smiles.

''Are you sure you didn't make this up?''

Kairi nods, desperately trying to keep the boy's image in her head, it starts to fade away, and turns into more than just a thought, but pain and agony inside of her brain, more than a headache.

''Naminé?''

'Oh no....'

'This hurts, so bad...'
