3:00 AM...

Jack woke up in a dark room, he was strapped to a chair with metal conductors on it and he had a collar around his neck. "What the? What is this? And how did I get here?" Jack asked himself. "He thinks to himself, 'Why don't I remember any of this happening?'. I wonder why..." a deep voice rang out. "What the hell is this place? And who are you?" Jack asked the voice. "Oh! Where are my manners? Everyone calls me The Host. But you, Sean William McLoughlin, are fond of the name Jack, correct?" he said. Jack was in total awe by how he knew that. Nobody knew his real name, and he certainly never told anyone.

"What do you want from me?" Jack asked. "I want to play a game. With you, and your friends. They're in another part of this, area right now. Now all you have to do is figure a way out of that chair before you get painfully electrocuted to death. You have 5 minutes." The Host said as his voice vanished as quickly as it appeared. Jack's mouth went wide. He didn't want to die, especially in the first 5 minutes of this "game" that he's being forced to play. He immediately looked around at his surroundings, spotting a knife on the floor. He realizes that the only way to get it is to throw it up into his lap without accidentally stabbing himself. He decides to take the risk and thrusts the knife up into the air with his feet, having it land in between his legs.

Jack managed to cut himself free of his restraints and stood up, right before the electric chair  zapped, frying the chair until it was on fire. "Woah! What the hell?! You were really going to kill me like that if I didn't escape in time?!" Jack asked in shock. "Oh, you big baby! I knew you were smart enough to escape. Besides, I can't have you die yet. Not without a little fun with the others." The Host said as he smirked. Jack of course couldn't see him smirking, but he knew by the way he was talking. He then tried to open the door, but of course, it was locked. "Oh, for the love of... Are you kidding me right now?!" Jack asked. Then the walls started to flash red as the light illuminated the room, revealing that the room was rigged with explosives. "Again. You have 5 minutes." The Host said.

Jack searched up and down the room frantically, but the room was completely empty. When he realized that it wasn't anywhere else, there was one place they had to be, in the explosives. He carefully moved the wires, desperately looking for the key. "Jackaboy! You only have 30 seconds left! You might want to find it in you to move faster!" The Host said. Jack then repeated that phrase in his head that he just said, then it hit him. He ran his hands along the collar on his neck, revealing the key attached to it. He yanked it off and frantically unlocked the heavy metal door, pushing it open and quickly shutting it. Jack ran as far as he could from the room, then it exploded as smoke ascended from underneath the door. "Y-you're a maniac!" Jack said. "After his treacherous adventure with the room rigged with explosives, Jack decided to stay silent until he found someone else." The Host said. There was a sound that Jack heard, it sounded like someone writing something quickly on a piece of paper. "What are y-" Jack tried to say, but his words fell silent. "Welcome to The Dangers of Fiction!" The Host exclaimed as Jack could only listen in silence.
