Chapter 3
The confession/ The truth
Nicolai's Pov
"Hey Nic, long time no see." Then the teacher rambled on about some project we had to make.
"Hey Maddy" I said with a smile.
"So... how are you?" She said shyly.
"Fine but a few minutes ago I didn't feel so cool." I said trying to get the message to her.
"Why? What's wrong? Do you have a head ache or a stomach ache? Nico I -"I cut her off
"I haven't heard that name in more than a year." I said with a small smile etching on my face. "And to answer your questions. No I don't have a head or stomach ache." I said still smiling.
"Then why didn't you feel so... oh." She blushed at the end when she realized that I was talking about her.
"Why?" I heard her ask while she still didn't look at me.
"Why what? Madds?" I was the only one who could get to call her that without getting hit in any part of the body.
That was us, she got to call me Nico and I called her Madds. We never labelled our relationship but we knew that we didn't need to.
"Why are you..." she trailed off again.
"Madds, I never stopped. I know that you know how I feel. I know you heard me that time. Even I f I have to shout it to the whole world just for you to believe me, I will do it without hesitation." She still continued to look out the window.
"Excuse me, Mr. Wilson and Ms. Roberts but what are you two talking about?" Mrs. Callaway asked, eyeing both of us.
I and Maddy didn't reply we just shook our heads as a no.
"Okay, if there aren't any more disturbances, please listen to who your partners will be." She said as she pulled out a list of names. "So we have James Fern and Jessica Torres, Max Taylor and Angel Sparks, Nicolai Wilson and Madelyn Roberts..." after she said that I was grinning like I just won the lottery. Well I actually did, I got a chance to do something right. I needed to let her know, let her know that it started out as a game but along the way I really, truly did fall for her as she fell for me, even if she didn't tell me. I can see it in her eyes, as they say the eyes are the windows to the soul.
"Now that I have announced your partners I will be assigning your language of music. For James and Jessica is Spanish, Max and Angel is Portuguese, Nicolai and Madelyn Roberts is Filipino,"
Then she told us to talk about the song with our partners and try to get the choreography a bit. I turned to my side to see Maddy writing down a list of songs, I think.
"Madds, what are you doing?" I asked as I scooted closer to her.
"Please don't call me that. And I am writing song suggestions for us to use." She said as she continued to write.
"Okay but you do know that we have to use Filipino music since our topic is about the worlds languages, right?" I said as I peeked over the sheet of paper and I didn't understand the words she wrote.
"I know. But I guess you don't know me that much at all." She said with a smirk.
I know her, I know almost everything because she told me about herself and I told her about me.
"Princess I know almost everything about you." I shot her back with my signature smirk.
"Yeah, right. If you knew me then you would know that I am half Filipino right?" she said clearly feeling a bit offended that I forgot that part of her.
