Chapter 1 Iris

Soaring majestically in the mellow currents of air, the eagle flexed her mighty wings in a demonstration of power and agility. She enjoyed these early morning flights as the sun began to rise and the earth warmed to the touch of its rays. The air was fresh and clear up here in the mountains, it was going to be a glorious day. As she swooped and swirled gracefully, she spotted a flicker of movement among the Red Maple trees below. Folding her wings, she plummeted downwards, gathering a speed unmatched by any other creature in this forest. As she neared the swift approaching ground, she stretched and turned, talons extended.

"Good morning Sis!" A tuneful, raspy voice smirked dripping with appeasement, although it interrupted my vivid dream I could sense something so much better. I slumped myself over to see my brother flipping steaming eggs and sizzling bacon which smelt like a relentless mirage, mm my favorite. I got up and stumbled into our small apartment kitchen which was right in front of my room. It had crimson and pure white table mat which I awkwardly collided into.

"Morning Sam!" I said returning his greeting. I sat up twiddling my legs, tapping me feet on the bottom of the wooden stool. gazing at him flip the bacon with such finesse. He took out a smooth cream-coloured nicely toned baguette, sliced it in half, slid the butter inside and put it on new table mat.

"Eat up!" He said eagerly. And like that I munched into my breakfast. The flavors descended into my mouth, the juicy bacon evened out the excellent eggs, as I finished my last bite I licked my lips, went to the bathroom and showered thinking about how my day would turn out. After I finished I got changed into my mid-blue denim shirt, not the best to show off my "figure" but atleast it was comfortable. Then I put on my tight black trousers, Lastly I wore on my raven coloured vans and headed out.
