The war. If one could call it that anymore. Some called it the End. Others called it the Apocalypse. Whatever you called it, the meaning stayed the same. The same horrifying, bloody, meaning. You see, it all really started at the Battle of Hogwarts. Voldemort was defeated, yes, but many cruel and sadistic Death Eaters escaped. And this time, there was no leader to keep them in check. This time, they got drunk on power and blood. They exposed the wizarding world to the muggles. Not much happened at first. Slowly they started to catch on. Their leaders declared set on the magicals. And so began a war with two sides: the muggle fighters, the wizard survivors, and the sadist darks.
Things looked bleak for us survivors. We were scattered with no way of contacting each other because we were so behind on technology. Eventually we got our act together and formed another rebellion. We have hide outs, and have found our old friends. The ones still living and sane, that is. Many had died. Fred. Dennis. Cho. Justin Finch-Fletchley. Even some Slytherins had died. Maybe saddest of all was the fact that some had ended their own lives after being captured and witnessed too much gory torture. We were no longer the happy Light wizards we were before. Now, our group has dabbled and even mastered some areas of dark magic. After all, the muggles had bombs and nuclear weapons. We only had our wands. Times were desperate and had no purpose. How could we get out of such a dark scenario? We are now living in the world created from dark and twisted minds. Like something from a Stephen King novella. Hermione found something a while ago, though. Something that gave us hope. Something to give us purpose.
Something ridiculous.
Something founded off of our third year adventures in Hogwarts.I am Harry Potter of the Damned Souls. This is how the fate of the future took another turn.
