Chapter 10

-Margaret's POV-

The 2 weeks had went by really quickly. Nothing much has happened between Niall and i. there were a few kisses on the cheek and some cuddling while we all watched some movies at night. but nothing serious. Since it was the beginning of a new month, we got a new group of campers. but that wasn't until next week. This week was 'visitation week'. i only had 3 friends coming this year. My friend Erica couldn't come because she was looking at colleges, and i was really bummed about that. i know she would've loved to meet the boys. and my friend Kayla couldn't come because she wasn't able to eat any of the food here because she has some food allergy or whatever. So this year, my friends Darian, Sydney, and Devin were coming! they were all my best friends, and i could talk to any of them about anything! they were practically family to me. I kinda felt badly because the boys didn't have anyone coming to visit them. i hope the would get along with my friends so they wouldn't feel left out.

The boys and i were all in the music building just sitting around on the floor and just hanging out. They kept asking questions about my 3 friends that were coming to visit. Harry was actually asking most of the questions. let me guess why. "Who's the prettiest?" Harry asked. "I'm not going to answer that." I said giggling. i wanted them to be surprised! Harry continued saying "I bet Devin is. Any girls named Devin are always hot." Which caused me to laugh uncontrollably!! Then i heard a voice say "Too bad I'm a dude." Devin! i got up and ran over to him, giving him the biggest hug ever! This made all the guys laugh except Harry. I pulled Devin over to the boys and introduced him to all of them. "Devin, this is Louis, Zayn, Liam, Niall, and this is Harry." I said with a wink. "Nice to meet you guys, and sorry Harry, i don't swing that way." Devin was always funny. He was also extremely kind and friendly. He had a nice style to him as well. He kinda dressed like Zayn. He always wore Vans, skinny jeans with a plain t-shirt and a jacket. Even his hair was a mix between Zayn and Niall's. He was one of my best friends! back home, he knew everything about me too. He would know if i felt uncomfortable or not myself. I trusted him with my life and he's like my big brother.

Darian came in along with Sydney, and my guess by the look on Harry's face, is that he was instantly interest in Sydney! She was kinda short. oh who am i kidding, she is 4'11"! but she had long brown hair and green eyes. Okay, she was pretty much a short version of Miley Cyrus, but with better teeth. And as i can see, Zayn took an interest in Darian! And i could tell that she was doing her best to keep calm.

We all sat around for a while when Louis suggested we do something. Niall wanted to eat, But Liam suggested we play a game of soccer, or football, or whatever you want to call it. so we all changed into something to play in and headed up to the soccer field. Sydney isn't very sporty, so she said she would be the ref. She also split us into 2 teams Harry, Liam, Me, and Lou, against Niall, Darian, Devin and Zayn. the 2 team captains were Liam and Niall.

Harry and Zayn took the goals, Louis and Darian were on defence, Devin and I were the mid-fielders and Liam and Niall  went head to head being the center forwards. Sydney didn't really know what to do, so all she said was "ready..GO!" we were all pretty good players, I played for 11 years of my life, but I'm not sure how long they all did. The sun was starting to set and we were scored 9 to 9. Sydney said "Okay, next goal wins!" harry kicked the ball from the goalie box and it hit about center field. Devin and i ran towards it since we were very competitive with each other. I got to the ball first, and kicked it as hard as i could up to Liam h\who head-butted it into the goal! we won! "YEAHHH WE WON!" Louis screamed and lifted me up! "You know i let you have that shot." Devin commented. "HA! yeah right! i beat you and you know it!" I said back still being help up by Louis. We made our way back to the mess-hall since it was a little past dinner time. we were the only ones there so Harry and Syd made their way to the kitchen while the rest of us set the table for all of us. Harry had called out from the kitchen and told us to sit down. Niall sat across from me as usual and Devin sat to my right and Liam to my left. Next to Liam was Zayn then Darian then Syd. And there was an empty seat for Harry was my guess. And Louis sat next to Devin.

Harry came out with a huge plate held above his head. "What's for dinner chef?" Louis asked. "who cares?! its food!" Niall replied. Harry set the hugs plate down and said "Help yourselves" with a big smile. Zayn's face was hysterical at that moment. "Seriously Harry? Dino shaped chicken nuggets?" we all started laughing at Zayn's comment, but soon enough we filled our plates. after dinner we made our way back to the lounge in the housing building. I made some popcorn while we all sat around. Sydney suggested we watch a movie so Liam put in 'She's the Man'. Which was my all-time favorite movie. (that wasn't Disney) and everyone knew it! i was told to shut up a few times by Devin and Zayn because i was talking along with the movie. after it was over, Darian suggested we play "The Hot Seat." everyone knew how to play now because i taught the boys within the first few days they were hear. We started with Harry in the hot seat. some usual questions popped up but when i asked him my question, Sydney owed me. "Alright Harry, do you find Sydney attractive?" i asked with a wink. Syd blushed uncontrollably. and even more so when he said "Oh absolutely!" he smile over at her and she awkwardly giggled. shes actually awkward all the time. I pretty much asked Zayn the same question only about Darian, and he said the same thing about her. Man i am such a good friend to them. It was Devin's turn in the hot seat, and for some reason, Liam got really into it. he asked him some really weird questions, and they all had to do with me. I guess it was just because he protective of me. and Devin did the same to Liam and Niall. which caused some tensions.

Mostly between Liam and Devin.
