Falling for my Best Friend (a Niall Horan fanfic)

- Chapter 1 -

Today is the day. The day I'm meeting the boys. 

Last week I got a text from Niall saying:

Hey Melissa! Whats d craic?? The boys and I have two concerts in Dublin so I'm coming home for the week. Hope to see u soon!

Niall and I are bestfriends. Or was bestfriends. While Niall was on the XFactor he would rarely text me, and then when the XFactor was over he stopped all of a sudden. I never knew why.. I thought he forgot about me so I didn't text him. It hurt me alot, I knew Niall better then anyone else. His mam and my mam are bestfriends so I was always at his house, or he was always at mine. Niall is only a few months older then me but he acts like he's years older. He was like my dad sometimes, always protecting me. 

I got out of bed and hopped in to the shower to wake me up. I have to be full of energy for these boys. I've heard all the crazy things they do sometimes so I have to be prepared.

I let the hot water race down my body and washed my hair with my apple shampoo. My hair is long and blond, and I have blue eyes. I'm not tall, but I'm not small. Niall is about 3/4 inches taller then me so he always used to make funny of me. I'm really slim even though I have an appetite like a pig. 

I got out of the shower and got dressed, I put on a pair of dark blue high-waisted jeans with a red top and black ankle boots. I looked at the clock and it read 11am. From what I read on twitter lately, Niall and the boys wont be here until 1pm so I have plenty of time to get ready. 

I took out the curling iron and started putting loose curls in my hair. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth then put on my make up. I put on a light foundation, mascara, and a clear lipgloss and walked down the stairs. 

Just as I got down the stairs there was a knock at my door.. 

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* 

"Who is it?" I called. 

"Its... "
