JAMIES POV:

Will walked back to his house, which must of been pretty close to mine because you could no longer see him. Hayes was still on the porch, so I shut my front door.

"Where are we going?" I asked, since I had no clue.

"You'll see." Hayes said, while grabbing my hand and leading the way.

I can't be mad at Hayes forever, so I guess I would just forgive. I mean how can you stay mad at him? Hayes didn't let go of my hand, and i'm totally fine with that. We were walking down the side walk, when there was a dead end. All there was in front of us was woods, but Hayes kept going. I just went with him. Now, we were on a trail in the woods. We kept walking a little more. We stopped and my eyes grew wide. Their was a blanket layed down, with food on it. Around us was lights, strung perfectly on the trees above. I know I its only like 1 o'clock,  but with all the clouds, it was dark. Through the trees I could see a beautiful lake, lake norman I think.

"Hayes, It's beautiful." I said while still in shock.

"But, nothing compared to you." Hayes said.

I was probably blushing like crazy now. But that was one of the sweetest things someone has every said to me. Hayes, once again, took my hand and lead me to the blanket, and we both sat down. I smiled at Hayes and he gladfully returned it. Hayes had pretty much all my favorite foods. Which meant that he must of listened to me when I told him about me. He is so sweet.

"You didn't have to do this all for me." I said, while still blushing like crazy.

"I wanted to make it up to you, and be friends again," Hayes said while staring at me.

Well, Hayes just friend zoned us or at I least I think he did. I know that he is with Jordan, but I still can't figure out my feelings for Hayes. I mean I like Shawn too. But, I just feel like have know Hayes forever. Maybe we have met before I moved here. I don't know, but I know that I have mixed feelings toward both Shawn and Hayes.

"Jamie, Can I tell you something." Hayes asked, while looking at the ground.

"Of course, you can tell me anything." I said being completely honest.

"You promise it won't ruin our friendship?" Hayes asked.

"I promise." I said, while trying to read his facial expression.

"Jamie, I don't know how to put this but I like you, a lot." Hayes said while blushing.

I soon started blushing too.

"I like you to, But what about Jordan?" I asked.

"I broke up with her, because I found the person I wanna be with, and that's you." Hayes said.

I didn't respond, I actually had no idea how to respond. I can't believe Hayes likes me. Hayes looked at me, we just stared at eachother. Not awkward at all. I kissed Hayes on the cheek. It soon started to rain, so Hayes wrapped the food up that we didn't touch, and put in this little shed thing that was near the lake. Me and Hayes were back on the trail, when it started down pouring.

"Get on my back." Hayes quickly said.

I hopped on his back, and draped my arms over his shoulders. He soon started jogging, with me on his back. We got back to our house's. We were in the middle of the street.

"Thanks for everything Hayes." I said, smiling.

"Anytime." He said.

"Well I guess I will see you later." I said while turning around.

"Jamie wait." Hayes said, while grabbing my waist and turning me around.

"You forgot something." Hayes said.

But before I could answer he put his lips on mine. At first I didn't kiss back, but eventually I did. We pulled apart after about 5 seconds. I enjoyed every second of that kiss.

"Let's do it again sometime." Hayes said while chuckling.

"Definitely." I said while laughing with him.

"Well, I hopefully see you tomorrow, bye Jamie." Hayes said.

"Bye." I said while going into my house.
