This is a little backstory about Emma. First chapter will begin after.

Locked in a doom,  no family around to save her,  desperate to reunite with her family and escape to a new life?  Just call me Rapunzel. She thought bleakly as she returned to the wardrobe. She reached under the wardrobe and pulled out a piece of black paper.

"Reunite." She whispered the password and watched as the black paper rose and formed into a large black trunk.  The trunk was enchanted to fit everything she owned.  It was impossible to run out of room.

The trunk was the first gift she received after her father went to prison. Accompanying the gift was a lengthy letter from her father.

The letter made promises of a reunion and swore his innocence. He promised that she would receive a letter once a month,  no matter what. The letters would be sent from a third party.

Exactly one week after the trunk appeares in her room, so did an owl. It appeared on her nightstand, silently sitting, waiting for her to wake.

She hesitantly untied a letter from the owls foot. The letter read;

My dearest Emma,

I cannot provide for you from this prison, but i have a friend on the outside who will help. She will deliver letters to and from you and I, as well as send gifts on my behalf.
Please remember, my dearest daughter, you are not alone in this world though it may seem so. You have a family in my friends, if you need them, they will be there. Do not suffer in silence, do not bite your tongue and more than anything, do not let these wretched people destroy your soul. Hold tight to who you are, stand your ground and fight for what is right
The owl is my gift to you. My friend will care for him on youe behalf as those wretched muggles will surely not allow you to keep him. He is yours to name. The watch on your wrist,  there is a button on the side. Press the button and my friend will send the owl to you. Write as often as you wish.  I will keep in touch the best I can. I love you Emily Faye. Never doubt that.
Love,  your father

She looked at the owl softly for a few minutes and smiled. Your name is Faith. She wrote the owls name on a piece of parchment, along with a letter to her father,  tied it to the owls ankle and pet its head. "Go home Faith.  Maybe one day I'll join you." The owl flew out the window and out of sight.
