CH-8 Bed

"Your mate is beautiful."

"Mine!" I growled as Nick raised his arms in surrender, his face giving me a teasing smile.

"Yeah I know...yours." Nick chuckled.

"By the way, did she tell anything about her panic attack?"

I shook my head as thought of Jenny occupied my mind. Though my mate was tiny as compared to my height, her dark curls and delicate features made her stand out.

Her beautiful silver eyes made my heart beat frantically when we first met at the dinner.

I lost contact with Leo, my wolf, since Jessica died.  Neither could I feel him after that nor could I shift.

Once Jenny entered, Leo stirred in my mind and made his presence known. I couldn't help but sit there shocked. I couldn't believe that Moon goddess blessed me with a second mate.

Jenny, with her cheery personality, was nothing like Jessica. I succumbed to her right then. She captured my heart the moment she walked into the dining room.

The heartbroken expression on her face when she left broke my trance. I followed her to the palace entrance.

But when I reached there, the site in front of me made me freeze in my place.  Jenny was in Nick's arms as she struggled to breathe.

I quickly took her petite body from Nick to my arms, beautiful tingles calmed my wolf and me. Her body went limp as I mind linked the doctor.

I was relieved to know that it was just a panic attack. But it still made my wolf restless to know that my mate was in trauma of something that led to the panick attack.

I tried talking with her about it but she was not comfortable in sharing the reason with me. I could feel how tense she was when I asked her about the panic attack. So I thought of not pushing her and give her time to be comfortable with me.

But one thing was sure that I would protect her and help her with everything I had.

I hugged Mom and then Dad as they left for a tour of the New Moon pack.

Since Dad was about to pass his crown to me, they were meeting with alphas of all the packs in our country and inviting them personally to the crown ceremony.

I headed down the hallway to my room where Jenny was currently staying. As I stood at the door, I could smell the refreshing lavender scent from behind it.

I was met by a dozing Jenny as I entered the room. My wolf purred with content as he saw her mate sleep in peace.

I chuckled at my wolf's words, completely agreeing with him.

I brushed her dark curls from her forehead and then traced her eyes, nose and then lips with my fingers.

I couldn't believe I found her in a Royal dinner which she won in a lucky draw. Fate had unique ways to get mates together.

As much grateful I was to moon goddess to give me a second mate, I would never make her regret this decision.

I opened my eyes to a peacefully dozing Alexander. One of his strong, muscular arm was wrapped around my waist while one was below my head acting like my pillow.

My wolf purred at the sight of her mate. I wanted to run my fingers through his messy blond hair. I wanted to feel those abs, bulging out of his tight T-shirt, under my palms. I wanted to feel those plump lips on my mine.

Kiss mate

Ava's words made me giggle.

"What are you giggling at?" The husky voice made me freeze on the spot as I looked up to the hypnotising violet eyes.

"Nothing." I managed to speak. This guy was making me crazy. I couldn't think straight when he was around, I couldn't speak correctly when he was around. Hell, I couldn't get anything out of my mouth when he was around.

"I hate you!" I huffed as I crossed my arms and turned to look at the ceiling of the room.

He turned towards me, his hand still wrapped around my waist.

"Hmm...why?" He asked, amusement dancing in his violet eyes.

"Because nothing comes out of my mouth when you are around." I blurted out, instantly regretting what I just revealed.

"Nice to see I have such an effect on my mate." He chuckled.

I glared at him, "Why is that funny? By the way what are you doing in my bed?"

"Your bed? That's my bed where you are currently laying."

I could feel heat creeping to my face as I stood there dumbfounded. What the hell was I doing in his bed!

Mate's bed is ours too.

I glared at Ava as she wiggled her eyebrows.

I threw the covers off me and got out of the bed, "Look, I don't know how I got in your bed but I am sorry for being here."

I was about to walk out of the room when next moment I was back in Alexander's arms.

I couldn't help but feel dizzy. Alexander's speed was definitely not anywhere near that of average werewolf.

He chuckled, "Whats mine is yours too and  by the way, I was the one who got you here."

Ava purred at his words.
