chapter 2

the plane ride was horrible. thankfully we finally got off and are now headed to our condo.

hayes and i are finally back together. this time, he promised to me.. that nothing would happen. but i dont know if i can trust him. he has hurt me so many times, but its been 4 years. maybe he has changed.

we arrived to the condo and unpacke the car. i ran up the front steps and inside. it was like a child waking up on christmas morning. i havent been on a vacation in forever.

everyone got there own room except elizabeth (hayes and nashs mom) and skylyn, and then nash and hailey of course.

i ran up to my room and jumped on my bed. i was still a little excited about mine and hayes little moment in the airport.

"wanna go to the beach?" hayes says grabbing my waste and pulling me closer.

"yaassss!" i nearly scream causing him to laugh.

i head over to my suitcase and pull out a pink sparkly bikini from victoria secret. i throw it on and put on a purple crop top and some jean shorts on. i pull my hair into a pony tail and put on sunglasses.

done.

i head downstairs and wait for hayes. man, he takes longer than every other girl does. i quietly laugh to myself.

"what are you laughing at?" he says coming behind me.

"nothinggg." i say smirking while running to the beach.

did i mention our backyard was practically the beach?

i run out onto the sand and immediately fall in love.

"i wanna live here!" i say hugging hayes.

"someday baby. someday." he says kissing the top of my head. i smile at the thought of oneday calling hayes mine. not mine as just boyfriend.. but someday husband. someday.

"race yah!" i scream running for the beach. before im even halfway there i feel someone grab me from behind. i turn around hoping to be face to face with hayes. but it wasnt. it was shawn.

"SHAWN!! OH MY GODD!! what are you doing here!?" i scream causing people to stare. he starts to laugh and tells me that hes visiting his cousin for the entire summer.

"we are totally gonna hang out!" i say giggling. "hayes is here too." i look around to look for hayes but i dont see him anywhere. "hayes? hayes?! HAYES!?!" i scream. i apologize to shawn for leaving and not being able to stay longer but i need to find where he went.

*hayes pov*

she blew me off. for shawn. i turn around and head back to the condo. maybe she will come after me. maybe.

what if she falls for him and instead of me? shes supposed to love me. not shawn. not anybody. she is mine.

i sound selfish.. but its true. she has to be with me. i let her go the first time.. theres no messing up this time.

i go downstairs and see chelsey laying on the couch sleeping.

"i love you to shawn." she says out loud. shes sleep talking.

"were meant to be.. but dont tell hayes." she says in a whisper.

"chelsey?" i whisper but loud enough to where she can hear. her eyes flutter open and she practically runs and tackles me.

"hayesey boo!" she said hugging me. i refused to hug back until i knew what she was talking about.

why did she say she loved shawn?

why did she say that they were meant to be?

what cant she tell me?

"whats wrong baby..?" she said letting go.

"you were talking in your sleep.." i start. i begin walking to the couch with her following close behind. "you said you loved shawn.. and that you guys were meant to be.. and that you couldnt tell me." she looked even more hurt then i did.
