After 50 minutes of travelling from Heathrow to Belfast, adrenaline hit us all. We were so excited to be in Ireland. I was more excited at the fact I'd just been on a plane with Josh.
"Are you okay, Jack?" Max asked me whilst I was taking the atmosphere of Ireland in.
"I'm fine. Infact, I'm more than fine. I'm brilliant." I replied.
We collected our bags and got in a Mini Bus to the hotel we were staying in. Max was getting excited on how he was going to spoon Josh in bed tonight since they were both sharing a room. Dan and Ilona were sharing and it was Matt and Chris. And then finally, Hayley and I.
After we put our bags down, we didn't have much time so we all headed straight to the venue.
Our bus pulled up in front of the Ulster Hall where the boys would be performing and there was so many people standing in the queue waiting for You Me At Six. There were so many girls there crying for Dan as he ran in holding Ilona's hand. It was so weird knowing I was in a queue like that only 5 days ago and now I'm in Ireland having to go around the back of the building because Hayley Williams is my Girlfriend.
Once we were in, the boys went straight over the setlist without hesitating considering that they didn't really want to be there. Hayley was called up and was ready to sing Stay With Me, In the middle of the performance, Ilona started to break down crying, so I comforted her. Dan stopped and ran up to me and Ilona and asked her what was the matter. She said;
"I just can't believe how lucky Jack is to have an angel like Hayley and Josh hasn't got anyone to look after, I feel so sorry. And with what happened with Hanna, I just can't believe anyone would do that to him."
I think it was a girly thing, getting all emotional for people and stuff.
Time flew by fast after sound check, meet and greet and then the support act. Who was Don Broco for Belfast and Dublin. (As Kids In Glass Houses, The Skints and Mayday Parade had to get on with their lives) but after they performed, it was time for You Me At Six's second to last song of their Sinners Never Sleep tour.
The songs went on and Josh gave out a little speech:
"Sorry to disappoint you guys, but we've changed the setlist a little. The next song we're meant to perform is Take Off Your Colours but instead, we're singing Stay With Me. For one main reason. We have a special guest tonight who will be performing it with me. No, its not my sister but it IS someone who means a heck of a lot to me. Let's hit it Belfast!"
"You've got a lot to say, for the one who walked away." Josh started as Hayley was beginning "I give, you take. It's the way it's always been."
It was about 2 minutes later. The song had Just finished. The crowd just let out a prolonged moment of cheers and claps. I felt proud of what Hayley'd done. A tear went down my face, I was so happy.
Hayley had just come off stage. She looked so happy. I picked her up and spun her round and said:
"I fucking love you."
Josh came over to us and said "Come on, it's time to celebrate."
We went back to the hotel and then went to the nearest pub.
Then, I did something I hoped I wouldn't regret.
