"Thanks for paying for me," I shyly smiled.
I had no money and when we saw the ice cream truck, he insisted on buying some.
"Don't sweat it, love," he replied and put an arm around me, "It'll be my treat."
Earlier today I was forced to suffer by working a shift in the kissing booth, and had to kiss many people to raise money for charity. Trust me, it wasn't pleasant.
-A few hours earlier-
"Dude you're next!" said an Asian boy as he shoved another boy towards me. "Nice, she's hot too," the Asian snickered.
I rolled my eyes. Great another manwhore, I thought.
I looked up at the boy in front of me who was trying to regain his balance. His cheeks were a bit pink from embarassment but he coughed and looked away, trying to play it off. The boy looked at me so intently and seemed lost in thought. I couldn't help but notice his light green eyes that seemed to sparkle.
"Listen, there's a big line behind you and I don't have all day," I told him.
"Right, right. Sorry," he replied. Wow he had a very thick Australian accent. The boy quickly fixed his hair and sat in the chair in front of me. Yet again, he stared at me with those bright green eyes of his. I have to admit, he's a little attractive. But no matter how much I'd love to stare into his eyes all day, I have 10 minutes left of my shift and have to hurry and get rid of as many people behind him as possible.
"So, are you going to kiss me or..." I said kind of awkwardly.
He blinked as if he was awoken from a trance, "Yeah, let's do it."
We both leaned in slowly and I closed my eyes, waiting to feel his lips against mine. Instead, our noses bumped into each other.
He pulled back and nervously chuckled, "Sorry."
I softly laughed and was about to say something else when someone waiting in line cut me off, "COME ON! JUST KISS HER ALREADY!"
A couple of other people grumbled in annoyance as well.
Before I could react, the boy cupped my cheeks with his hands and crashed his lips against mine.
I was caught off guard at first, but once i realized what was going on, I kissed back.
The kiss began really soft and tender, but soon became rough, as if he was desperate for more. Honestly, i was enjoying the kiss very much.
Our lips continued to move together in sync, but of course I had torun out of air and pulled away to breathe.
He leaned his forehead against mine and was so close that i could feel his hot breath on my cheek.
He whispered, "Thanks, I hope the dollar I spent goes to a really good cause."
He got up, bit his lip, and winked at me. Then he left, leaving me speechless. Well damn.
The rest of my shift was a blur. Although i kissed many people, I couldn't get my mind off of that green eyed boy with the curly golden hair.
But finally my time was up. I walked into the tent that was behind the booth.
Danielle and Richard were seated, chatting away.
As soon as Danielle saw me, her smile faded, "No, no, no please don't tell me it's my turn already."
"Sorry Dani," I gave her a sad smile.
She groaned and slowly began walking out of the tent.
"Have funnn!" I held out the last word and grinned.
