It was winter, but it wasn't cold. Or at least it seemed that way. As I was driving North, I came upon a cluster of woodlands. I don't remember where I was exactly. Somewhere in Wisconsin. As I was passing the woods, I saw a clearing, right near the highway. Something about it struck me. It was almost as if there was no sound, just the snow falling. There was a single house, right in the middle of the clearing. Something was calling me to it. I pulled over. I decided to take the exit and enter the woods, even though I had somewhere to be, I felt like I needed to visit that house. As I pulled into the woods, I felt the cold. I hadn't felt it initially, but I felt it now. I got out of my car. I strolled in the woods, listening to the silence. There was no leaves rustling, no wind in the trees. Only silence. However, as I approached the clearing, I began to hear a ring in my ear. Almost like white noise, only there was a ring. Pulsating, it began to take over my entire body. I felt it from head to toe as I approached the house. I knocked. The door opened. The house was strange. It looked massive from the outside, but as I entered, it was only a mere shack. A man came behind me. I was alarmed at first, scared out of my trance. He looked at me. The ringing was getting worse. I was nearly deaf by now, only hearing the white noise. But finally, he says to me, "What are you doing here, in my home?" The ringing stopped when he spoke. I couldn't answer. He sees my fear. He says to me, "Do not be afraid. My name is Elohim. " The man had shaggy long hair and an untrimmed beard. He wore only black. "Come with me," he says. I follow, for some reason. There's a voice in my head, asking what the hell I'm doing. Why have I stopped in the middle of the highway to enter a random house without hesitation? I must've lost it. But I kept going. I followed this man. He brought me to his basement. He handed me a gun. I took it. He said to me, "There are people not as awake as you who come here. You will wake them up, when there time is near. You will know, or I will tell you. Some will be people you know. You must wake them up." He pushed the gun in my hands. I still said nothing, but I waited in the snow and silence, for the first person to be awoken.
