Quinn stepped up to the uneven bar to practice a move she had done hundreds of time before. She was training for the olympics, wich was in less than a week. Rubbing the chalk on her hands, she gripped the pole and vaulted herself up.

Exhaling, she went through the movements of the first flip on the bar. She tried for the second. Before she could finish the second flip however, she heard her name shouted from somewhere in the gym, and glanced at the area it was coming from. The next few Seconds were a blur, and if asked about it later she would say she couldn't remember.

She lost her grip, and went tumbling into the Matt. She landed at an awkward angle, and the next few seconds everything went black. She could her yelling, and someone was crying, before everything just faded away.

Quinn was informed 4 days later that her femur was injured, and she had a metal rod in her leg. She would never do gymnastics again.
