You're my only hope

chapter 3- You and Me

Finally. She had been waiting for this for days now, no it was more than that she had been waiting for this for much longer than that. She wasn’t really sure exactly when he would come. Considering he dint really know where she lived she figured he would come to school since he did know that. She drove to school that day like any other since she’d gotten her car. She had been stressing over her outfit for that day since early that Wednesday she didn’t wanna seem slutty but at the same time she didn’t want to look all covered up. She walked calmly into school and meet up with Tessa.

“Well you look nice today” Tessa said mockingly

“Shut up! I’m nervous enough as it is”

“Seriously though you do look nice…you took all night didn’t you?”

“Not all night…just all afternoon” they laughed

“You really are all worked up aren’t you?”

“And you wouldn’t be?” she coked an eye her brow at her.

“Yeah I guess your right” she sighed

“It’s not even because of who he is you know like the famous actor but as him the guy I’ve been talking to for the last month”

“I still can’t believe he’s coming all the way over here for you and I do get what you’re saying to be honest I think you like him now like actually like him not like before”

“You know I just noticed you’re pretty dressed up too” she changed the subject

“Umm well that’s not cause of this” she said nervously. ” ok ok yeah it is, but come on if I meet him I don’t wanna look a hot mess” she laughed

“Hahaha wow your dumb”

The final bell rang she somehow imagined him being outside somewhere beside her car. As she went out the doors she noticed something was a bit off it seemed like people were crowding on the lawn. She gasped when she felt a hand pull her but calmed when she realized it was Tessa. She was pulling her toward the crowd.

“What’s going on?” she asked

“You of all people should know” Kayla finally realized. It was him. Of course, did she really expect for him to go completely unnoticed. She almost started running becoming the one who was pulling Tessa instead. She pushed their way through the crowd till she finally saw him. She let go of Tessa’s hand and started walking significantly slower.

“Danny?” she called out in a soft voice. She was just close enough for him to hear her. He turned around and met her eyes. He knew it was her not only because of her unmistakable hair or even the fact that she was the only one who actually called him Danny, but because of her soft light brown eyes and her beautiful soft smile. They both sort of just stood there looking at each other till Tessa pushed her. She took a step forward and they were almost face to face. He reached out and pulled her by the waist into a hug. She sluggishly pulled her arms round his neck.

“I’m so happy to see you” he said.

“Me too” she nestled her head in his neck resting it on the soft fabric of the back-pack he was carrying. They could feel every ones stares but they didn’t care. They stepped back for a minute and smiled at each other. He was significantly taller than her. He had a broad back and he was a huge 6’1” compared to her tiny 5’5”She had to look up to see his face. He took her from the waist again and lifted her of the ground. She screamed a bit in surprise quickly pulling her arms around his neck but laughed and wrapped her legs around his waist felling more secure that way. He laughed as well. She was soo pretty and seeing her eyes from so close was almost mesmerizing. He was so tempted to kiss her but he didn’t, it was too soon plus he didn’t have the courage to do it. He didn’t think he would have to restrain kissing her he hadn’t really thought it would be so tempting in the first place. He slowly let her go so she wouldn’t lose her balance as she stood up. She took his hand which made her freeze for a bit but neither let go they just blushed smiling at each other. She realized that he was wearing her bracelet. She pulled his hand closer to her eyes and began fiddling with it.

“You’re wearing it” she said.

“Of course I am I’ve been wearing it since I got it” he smiled

“You’re so sweet” she took his hand in hers intertwining their fingers. She started pulling him out of the crowd but then turned around and grabbed Tessa pulling her out too. Everyone was staring she could feel it, hell she could see them. But she wasn’t about to start caring now. She got to her car and let both of them in and quickly drove off.

“So where do guys wanna go?... by the way this is Tessa my ‘sister’ well obviously not my real sister, but she’s like a sister to me” she said pointing at her.

“Hi” Tessa said quietly. Kayla just laughed so Tessa hit her in the shoulder

“Hey I’m driving I can easily scare you to death right now” she laughed

“Whatever anyway let’s go to the mall”

“Why are you so quiet Danny?” Kayla asked

“I dunno” he said snaking his hand close to hers she took his hand into hers intertwining their fingers once again.

The three of them spend most of the afternoon together. He realized how close Kayla and Tessa were. He understood why they called each other ‘sisters’. They told him that they pretty much grew up together since kindergarten. Tessa was interesting to say the least. She was a lot girlier than Kayla in every way. She was slightly shorter than Kayla with dark caramel skin and wild curly hair that she kept in a pony tail. It was fun being with both of them.

Tessa was a little starstruck she didn’t really show it but on the inside she was screaming and jumping up & down. But more than anything she loved to see Kayla so happy. She saw the little looks they would give each other every now and then.

A/N

so there it is they finally meet ^^ so cute anyways i'm gonna try to make my updates a lil more routine. but my laptop is broken so i have to do it on my parents ancient computer so we'll see how dat goes. i know itz short but it seemed the best place to cut end but bacause it is short ill put another chapter up maybe wenesday (my last day of school! lolz)
