I roll my suitcase into the family room and look over to my mom who is sobbing."Mom I'm only going to be gone for the summer, which is only two months."
" I know but this is your first time going alone and i'm just worried about you. You are going to a whole other country!" My mom sobs.
"I'll be okay plus I will be with Dj and dad." I give my mom a quick hug and tell her "okay my flight is in a couple hours I have to go." She pulls me into another hug and I
moan. "Mom stop I have to go!" She kisses me on the cheek leaving a red lip stain on me. Ugh I rub it off me and start to head out the door.
"Umm Hailey... aren't you forgetting something..." my mom motions toward my my 'soon to be step dad.' Putting air quotes around that.
Oh right I slowly walk up to David and we awkwardly exchange hugs then I walk out the door giving one last look at my mom and David.
I get into the taxi I tell the driver to go to the airport and put my head phones on and listen to music the whole ride.
Once I get into the airport i have no idea where I'm going, then I bump into a guy around my age.
" Sorry." The boy smiles to me.
I look up to see a brown haired boy, with green eyes, and a sexy lip piercing, with a white tank top and black ripped up skinny jeans, And converse.
" No i'm sorry I don't know where i'm going."
" It's okay where are you heading?" He asks while helping me off the ground.
" Las Angeles, actually."
" Oh what a coincidence I'm going there too." He laughs.
His smile is the perfect combination of sexy and perfect.
"Would you like to ride with me since I don't know where i'm going?" I ask.
"Sure."'
