The first thing I remember that snowy Christmas morning, was waking up to Conrad, my eight year old son, shaking my shoulders, willing me to wake up. Beside him, Palmer was practically jumping on Ashton. He groggily rubbed his eyes and I slowly sat up, yawning as I did so. Our family Christmas traditions included no going downstairs before the parents wake up.
