Chapter 17/ He's Dead

"Yes you can go as long as Jacob stays right there with you.. No wondering off, or leaving his sight!" i say sounding like a true mother. I hear a chuckle behind me and turn to glare at Aiden.

"What? You know Jacob is responsible!" Aiden scolds, and wraps his arms around my waist. He had become so touchy in the matter of 4 days considering when we first met he wanted to kill me. I miss my wolf.

"Go on! Before i change my mind, and make you stay, and cuddle me!" I shout after him, and wipe a fake tear away. "Is this what it feels like when parents send there kids to their first day of kindergarten?" I pull Aiden's arms off me causing him to let out a growl. He's such a big baby!

He ignores my wishes, and wraps his arms around me again. "Lets watch tv." He whispers into my ear. I let out a groan, and escape his arms. Jumping over the couch, i pat the seat next to me.

"Its getting late.." i murmur to myself as i glance out the window. The sun was setting, and it was now getting dark. Where is he? Liam said he'd be back before 4.. but its already 6. Panic begins to set in as i glance around the house.

"Nathaniel!" I shout, and watch his head peak out from the game room across from my room. His lips were covered in cheeto dust, his hair looked like he hasn't bathed in years, and he had a headset resting on his nasty head of hair. Typical.

"What?" He asks with his mouth full of cheetos.

"Wheres Aiden?" I ask quickly glancing around the house. He had quickly left half way through the first movie, saying there was some kind of pack issue. And of course he wouldn't let me come, or tell me what was going on. Everything is top secret around here, and my curiosity was killing me!

"Out." Is all he says as he breaks eye contact. He was staring at the ground rather suspiciously. Kinda sus if u ask me. Was something wrong?

"Out where?" I growl out crossing my arms over my chest. I storm over to the door and grab onto the door knowing as soon-

"There was an attack! Ro-" i didnt even give him time to finish- as the kids say i was outta this bitch. I ran out, darting towards the hospital, dodging everyone that ran by. I wanted to seriously stop and lecture some dude for pushing me- almost making me fall, but now was not the time. My little brother was out here somewhere in this chaos.

"Sorry Luna, Alpha's orders. We can't let you in." the taller guard says as i approach them. Oh how badly i wanted to knee him where the sun don't shine, but he was ordered to so his wolf would not let him disobey. Unless- i ordered him to! Oh how i wanted my wolf to high-five me, and applaud me for using my brain..

"Let me in." I order- using a voice i didnt know i had. Suddenly they both step the side in order to let me through. Thank the moon goddess that my mate was an Alpha! I speed past them determined to find out what was going on. The hospital was flooded with workers rushing around, yelling, and barking orders. I step forward only to see my mate rushing towards me. Such bad timing.. haha..

"How'd you get in here?" He asks, grabbing ahold of my arm- tightly squeezing.

"Hey to you too. But ya know since my mate is an Alpha and apparently i can use my luna voice. Nice guards by the way." I say sarcastically, trying to push past him to figure out what was going on but failing since he had increased his grip on my arm even more. Freaking jerk. "Whats going on Aiden? Where's my brother?" The second i mentioned the word 'brother' Aiden went pale.

"I-"

"Alpha." A doctor cuts him off and waves him over.

"He's dead.." was all that i could hear. My whole body froze, and my mind began to race. My brother? No.. he can't be... Everything started being in slow motion, and it feels like im on a rollercoaster.. Somebody tell me this is just a bad dream... My eyes began to roll back, and i could feel myself falling.

I'm not very happy with this chapter tbh. But idk how to fix it back to how it was. Anyway still editing. Gonna make a chapter explaining everything (if ur an old reader that got confused)
