Liza POV.
I was on the way back home from a long boat day with my friends. I've been at the beach all day long and totally forgot to wear sunscreen. I was burnt so bad I had sun blisters all over my shoulders and I was nervous to come home to David because I knew how much he hated seeing me burnt. He always thought getting burnt was so bad for my skin. He's such a drama queen, even though he was right.
I pull up to our shared apartment and struggle to get out of the car and wince in pain trying to put my bag over my shoulders. I finally get up to the door and it was unlocked but all of the lights were out. I figured David decided to go to sleep and just left the door unlocked whenever I made it home.
I close the door and lock it, trying to be as quiet as I can. I tiptoe with all of my belongings trying to make it to our shared room but stopped quickly when the lights switched on. I see a sleepy, shirtless David standing in the hallway with his adidas sweatpants hanging dangerously low. I could not stop staring. I quickly snap out of it and take my bag and try to cover my sunburnt body. David shuffles over to me to give me a tight ass hug and I winced loudly.
David moved my beach bag off my body, putting it down, leaving me in my bathing suit. He slowly took off my cover up and I just let him knowing he would find out anyway. "I fucking knew it!!! Liza, you know how i feel about you getting sunburnt." he says as his facial expressions soften.
"Ik baby, i just completely forgot. I'm sorry." I say teasingly pouting while putting my arms out. "It's okay Liza i just get worried" David says giving in to my hug. I wince once again because I'm a weak bitch and he laughs. "Wtf is so funny, I'm in pain!" I said, my eyebrows raising. "Hey, you did this to your yourself." He pointed out as I roll my eyes. He then grabbed my stuff up to our room.
I grab a glass of water and walk upstairs to our room. I see David running a cold bath. I walk up to him from behind and reach up to his shoulders and start rubbing. "You're too sweet." I said smiling. I could see David grinning and then he turned around and tucked some hair behind my ear from my messy somewhat of a french braid. "Ik" he said cockily. I rolled my eyes chuckling and quickly undress shooing David out. He laughs while walking out of the bathroom knowing it's stupid of me to not let him watch me get undressed since we've been together for awhile now, but i have my reasons.
I step in our bathtub and feel the tingling/burning sensation turn into a soothing sensation instead. I wash my hair n shit and get out drying off. I run into our closet and grab a t-shirt and one of my spandex shorts. I turn off all of the lights and crawl into bed grabbing one of David's hands while intertwining it with mine. I gently kiss the top off his hand putting it against my hot sunburnt cheek. He pulls me closer and starts playing with my wet hair running into knots once in awhile. I slowly fall asleep in his arms.
The next morning I wake up to David pecking my face everywhere except for my lips. I cupped his face in my hands and lightly kiss his lips. Everytime we kiss it always feels like the first time and i absolutely love it. "Goodmorning." I say smiling. "Goodmorning baby." David says with his husky morning voice. Jesus. I then decide to go back for another kiss but a passionate one. He quickly stops me by putting his finger on my lips. "It's Aloe time!!!" He yells running to the bathroom getting the Aloe. "David!!" I say whining.
He comes back with the green Aloe Vera and lifts up my shirt while i turn my back towards him as he applies the cold gel against my skin. I shudder slightly due to how cold it was against my heated skin. David starts kissing behind my ear causing a smile to reappear on my face. He continued to apply aloe and we laid back in bed cracking jokes along with David teasing me about my sunburn.
