Chapter #1: Jenny
*Hi I'm Jenny, the main character of Chapter #1*
"Hey honey, how was school?" Mom insisted to say every day after school.
"It was fine. How about your day?" I repeat to say each day.
"Are you sure? Because today I got a call from the principal saying you're suspended for 1 whole month." Mom raised her voice while mentioning.
"It's no big deal, Mom. It has happened before." I say calmly
" NO BIG DEAL. You've never been suspended for 1 WHOLE MONTH. This is a big deal." Mom yelled out.
"I'm going to my room. I can't deal with you right now." I sassed my mom saying.
"Don't you dare sass me, young lady." Mom sassed right back at me.
"Whatever, Mom" I carelessly said as I was running to my room.
I was tired of all the crap I had to deal with when I was anywhere. I always was in trouble, anywhere I ever was at. I was tired of it. So finally after all this time, I finally devised a plan to escape home. I packed some clothes, food and of course, I'm going to bring money and got a hotel room or something. I couldn't get out of the house through the door, so I was going to jump out of my window and onto the soft grass. At the moment I was wearing my uniform and I didn't bother taking it off, because no matter what.. I was still leaving. So I jumped out of my room and landed on the ground.
I knew exactly what to do. I needed to get to a hotel before my mom found me. But how would I do it? I needed a lift or someone walking by to help me escape my mom's area. So I ran to the backyard to get my bike. And I just started to ride away on the right side of the street, no matter what happens or what person will pick me up off the road.
I HATE MY MOM!! and I always will. No matter if she dies or lives, I would rather be put in sexual trafficking, then be with her EVER AGAIN. Then I see a black van, and they open up when they see I was rained on, and looking down. But she still made me, and I was wondering if I should go back in or not right now. Then I saw my pastel gothic friend sitting down, smoking a cigarette.
She didn't bother trying to talk to me. I was worried if she hating me, and didn't want to speak to me because I got her suspended too. But she actually spoke to me saying,
"hey, Jenny. where are you going?" Alice said while smoking a cigarette.
"Nowhere, even if I told you, which I'm not. You wouldn't care..." I said, with an attitude.
"Yes, I would. I'm your best friend. I'm just worried about you, and wherever you're going I'm going with you." Alice said in a reassuring voice.
"I know you're worried, but you shouldn't be... I'll be fine, I don't need anyone to go with me, I'm going alone." I said before I walked away and saw the black van.
"Don't leave me..." Alice said, with tears in her eyes now.
"I have to go, I'm sorry," I said looking back at her.
I ran to the concrete and wait for it to come closer to me so I could finally leave my old life and turn to a new leaf.
