Chapter 42 - Hawaii

I felt stiff. I open my eyes slowly. 
"oh thank god" I hear Sam say.
"where am I" I say looking around, everything was blurry.
"you're ok you are in our secret place" Anna says
"Where's Elijah?" I ask.
"He's at your place, he is packing for you. We already have the stuff from Nick's place but Elijah has to keep up an act." Sam explains
"you look pale" I say to Sam when my vision becomes normal
"you've been out for three days" He says and I look around the room again. I had an IV in my arm.
"we were feeding you through a tube, helping you breath and trying to keep your body working" Anna tells me
"you miscalculated" Sam says
"whoops" I shrug "hey at least I'm alive" I say.
"barely. you got shot three times" Sam says
"that's nothing" I say "am I ok to get up?" I ask him
"maybe you should just sit up to start with" Sam suggests. I sit up slowly.
"I told Tommy we are here. Elijah is picking him up on his way over" Anna tells me.
"we're free" I smile. I look at Anna and Sam who were sat together smiling. "we are finally free"
We sit in a comfortable silence until Elijah and Tommy arrive.
"you're awake" Elijah says coming into the room
"hi" I smile
"We picked this up on the way round, thought we could celebrate your freedom" Tommy says holding up a bottle of champagne. I look at him with an annoyed look, he catches my look and realizes what he had done.
"Jade can't drink she is still recovering" Sam says
"you guys go ahead I want to get some rest" I say
"everyone out" Sam says shoving everyone from the back room into the other room.

"I'm just going to change her bandages and I'll be right out with you" Sam says closing the door and coming back over to me
"I saw your reaction to Tommy then his reaction when he saw yours." Sam says. He folds his arms across his chest.
"well, uh" I say
"no you're not" Sam says and I nod "does Elijah know?" He asks

"No" I say rolling my eyes.

"tell him" Sam says
"I will, know one has given me a chance, you and Tommy both found out" I say
"rest, you can tell him tomorrow" Sam says and he leaves. I close my eyes and get some sleep. 

"Jade" I hear Elijah say. he was stroking his thumb on the back of my hand
"yeah?" I say opening my eyes
"were you having a nightmare?" He asks me and I shake my head

"quite the opposite" I say smiling
"what were you dreaming about?" He asks
"you. Me. And our little baby running around in Hawaii with lots of friends" I say smiling
"seems like a dream we can make a reality" Elijah says kissing me
"a little sooner then you think" I say

"wait what?" He asks pulling back to look at me. I had a beaming smile on my face that told him what I needed to say "you're pregnant?" He has to double check.
"yes" I say. The look on his face was priceless and beautiful
"you're pregnant" he states. I think he started crying
"you're going to be a daddy" I tell him
"I'm going to be a daddy" He says "I had a huge plan for this but there was no good time but Jade will you marry me?" He asks
"yes" I smile now I was crying.
"wedding in Hawaii?" Elijah asks
"wedding, birth, new lives." I say and we kiss again and again.
"I love you so much" He says
"I love you too" I say.

"let's get some sleep, we have a plane to catch tomorrow" Elijah says. He climbs in next to me and we both get some sleep.

The next morning we jump onto a plane and head into our new lives. 
"it's so hot" Anna says when we step off the plane. 
"With the new phone I got, I found us a place to live, well that is if we want to live altogether?" I say
"yes" Anna says

"fine by me" Tommy says. Sam and Elijah both nod. I called an estate agent and she agreed to a showing. We get show around the huge house, We would all get a room each plus a bathroom.
"can we afford this place?" Elijah whispers to me
"how much?" I ask the lady showing us around

"no one wants to bye" she says
"why not?" I ask

"bad neighbourhood" She says

"so how much?" I ask

"I mean a really bad neighbourhood, there have been people killed, there's drugs and guns" She tells us
"how much" I ask once more.
"$100,000" She says
"that's it?" Anna says
"we will take it." I smile "right now" I say taking out the money
"really?" She asks surprised
"yep" I smile and hand her the money
"thank you. my bosses gave me this house because they knew it would never sell" She says

"promotion for you then" Tommy says
"thanks" I say and she leaves
"bagsy getting first pick" Sam shouts
"I think we should get first pick" I say
"what why?" Anna groans
"because I am pregnant" I smirk and her jaw drops. I choose a room with an adjoining room.
"for the nursery" I say to Elijah staring into the adjoining room.
"it's perfect" Elijah smiles.
"Everything is perfect." I smile.
