Oh, Beautiful Wayo

Phana POV

His name was Wayo Panitchayasawad. Oh, beautiful Wayo. He was my sister musical buddies and my junior. It was truly love at the first sight. He was the lead in the school musical, with a fantastic voice and stage presence - I attended to go support my sister (in the chorus), but once Wayo came onstage if you had asked me where my sister was, I would have answered "WHAT SISTER?!". I had no family! Wayo is my family now! I loved him so much I couldn't think. I would silently gasp when I saw him in the hallways strolling with his equally beautiful friends.

I was introduced to him once, during a fire drill in our school, by my classmate who knew him through musical. "Hey", he said. Oh god. Who knew that word could be so beautiful?  I didn't. Not until Wayo said it.

The few months later, fate struck. I was seated in a canteen, and happened to glance under my chair and noticed a baggie of something or other. I picked it up - it as Wayo's mortherf**king portraits! He had left it or maybe forgotten. I was in possession of  like 20 copies of Wayo's portraits! I quickly consulted my friends. "Give it to him in the cafeteria!! He'll be sooo grateful, and he'll have to talk to you! Maybe he'll invite you to sit!!". While think of another interaction was intoxicating, it was almost scarier than never seeing him again. What if I said something stupid? What if I did something stupid? I couldn't. I just couldn't. I was too insecure and awkward, and Wayo was too beautiful.

I turned it into the office and told them I had found it in canteen under the seat. I'll never know if they get it back to Wayo, but I know if they did and he was took a quick count, he'd find he was one picture short. You BET I stole one.

Highschool ended, I graduated and went off to a University away from My Wayo. Devastation was complete. A couple of years later, I saw HIM again. The one who have MY HEART. I realized Wayo and I would be at the same school again!!! For another two years, we would be united in the same place! Hallelujah, fate has struck again!

Icing on the cake, huh? He was studying in the same faculty as I am, which is Medical. DAMNNN YEAHH!!!

Every time I saw him in the halls. He would always make lingering eye contact with me and I knew it was lingering because I would meet his eyes, look away, desperately embarrassed, then look back and notice he was still looking at me. I will never forget the time I was walking back to class, alone in the halls, dreaming about how cute he was ... then I turned the corner and there he was, as if I had dreamed of him so seriously that he had manifested in my reality. I'm sure my expression must have read "crazy boy about to kidnap you and install a living fixture in the shrine in his closet" but he smiled, gave me a simple (yet totally romantic) head nod, and went on his way. Swoon.

He was The One, but I never got around to speaking to him, because he was way too beautiful for me. And I was a chicken.

Wayo POV

I had a crush on this guy, named Phana Kongthanin in Faculty of Medical. I heard that he liked me too, but he was super shy and afraid of being rejected. So he would never ask me out. I never understand why he was scared of getting rejected. Didn't he know that he's the coolest and sexiest man that I've seen. Only crazy person would rejected such a perfect human being as he is.

Well, my cousin is in the same year as he and sits right beside him in class. So, I told him about my crush and asked for his help.

One day, I wrote in my cousin's notebook all about how much I liked him and wished that he would ask me out. My cousin went to class that day and asked Phana to find his notes in his notebook since he was 'so busy doing other things'. When he flipped through my cousin's notebook, he found my note and read it. My cousin gave him enough time to see the message then he grabbed it back and said, "Hey! Don't read my notes! You weren't supposed to see that!". (Ain't it smooth — you go Wayo's cousin)

Well, our brilliant plan worked — he asked me out the next day!!!

Phana POV

I lost my notes and I asked my friend who sits right next to me for his notes so that I can wrote it again. He told me to find the notes in his notebook placed on his table because he was busy doing others stuff. I take his notebook and flipped it through all the pages and suddenly one of the pages caught my eyes, it had Wayo's name on it. I read every words and details on that page, and came to my realize that Wayo actually LIKED me too!!!

Phana was so happy when he know that the person he's been crushing for a really long time actually liked him too and wishing for Phana to ask him out. Phana kept on smiling like an idiot the whole day after knowing Wayo's feeling towards him.

So, Phana had make a brave decision to confess his feeling towards Wayo and asked him out — WAYO SAID YES!!!
