Surprising Riley watched as with one sweep of the hand all the candles blew out.
"Wh—whoa, w- what are you doing?" She questioned North suspiciously.
"Oh Riley, you're so naive" he chuckled, an evil smile crossing his face.
Riley trembled in her boot as a shadowy figure descended from a staircase. "Well, well, well what do we have here" he exclaimed, approaching the young girl smiling evilly.
"We got the one you requested sir" North soloed, now dressed to Riley's horror in dark, black robes.
"Ahhh I see; good job gentleman" the figure walked towards Riley, grabbing her check in a grandmotherly-like fashion; Shaking her with his shinny two pale fingers vigorously. "Remember me Riley" he grinned evilly.
Hmmm... how could I forget you Pitch, or should I say; the bogyman!" she growled, instantly becoming alert of what was going on.
"Hmmm... good guess" he smiled, to her horror when she looked up, she could see that she was staring into the cold, dead eyes of Pitch—the man who had made nightmares happen for her, the man who had made all her worst fears a reality as she slept.
"Y- you- you- you're here"
"Yes..." he chuckled.
"But how? This is the guardians' home base—there's no way they let you in"
"Oh, wouldn't they?" He chuckled.
She shook her head "No! They wouldn't"
"You're cute. Still believe that the guardians are all nice... unless, I somehow made them evil" he smirk, stroking his chin maliciously.
"You- you did this! How, why?"
"Took some of their DNA, I used hairs from all but the Sandman to make evil versions of Jack, Bunnymund, Tooth, and North... and I extracted a pinch of gold sand from Sandy"
"Why?"
"Because... the last time I meet the guardians and they defeated me I vowed to come back stronger than ever—enough to make all children live in fear of them all, believing in me once again"
"They'd never let you do that"
"That's right, they won't... unless, oh I don't know—something happened to them"
"Why, would did you do?" she inquired harshly.
"Who? Me!? You're actually accusing Muh of harming the guardians—the most believed in, all-powerful protectors' on earth! Now why would you think that?" he spat sarcastically.
"Well- I" Riley began.
"Cool your jet kid, it sarcasm; have ya ever heard of it?"
"Well yes; but I--" he selfishly cut her off, not even caring if she'd finished what she said or not.
"You really want to know what happened to your so-called heroes?"
"Yes!"
"Are you sure you want to know?" his voice growing creepier and creepier with every word.
Riley shook nervously, gathering up all her courage she shrieked out. "YES, YES, WHAT DID YOU DO!?"
Pitch smiled evilly as if he was satisfied with the answer the young girl provided. "I came flying in, knocking the lights out I then knocked them out, plucked a bit of DNA from each of their heads, and then popped some amnesia dust on each of their pretty little heads, and just to make sure it worked I blow some amnesia dust around their little circle, where they lay"
"You evil, lying cook!"
"Thank you, I try" he smiled, "North seize her and take her to..." he thought of the most worst place he could send her. "the Dungeon"
"The Dungeon? That's where you're going to take me?" she laughed.
"Yes, it's like a basement..." he smirked. "You'll feel right at home"
"Noooo..." she jumped up and started to run.
"Oh, I don't think so!" North grunted, grabbing her by the cook of her collar.
"No stop!" She screamed.
"Be quiet you" thrusting her back against the wall.
"Wh- what are you going to do with me!?" tears began to roll down her cheeks.
"To the Dungun with you!" he grunted, grabbing her gruffly by the collar—dragging her out of the room through a long hallway until he stopped in front of a big brown door. Thrusting it open, they descended down, down, down the long stone covered steps. Walking down the staircase, he dragged the young girl behind him until he came to a jail cell. Sliding open the bid black metal door, he shoved the young girl inside the foul-smelling cell.
"Now stay there!" He grunted, slamming the door to the cell.
"Eye eye sir" she whimpered, bringing her knees up to her chest; frowning sadly as tears ran down her face.
