Fierce like thorns and pain imbued
Unfailing tears sting my lidded eyes
Twin beads first, then a flood of anguish
Disgorging all my sins and lies
Curled rivulets of brine and warmth
Along my brown cheeks, my garrotted neck, they flow down
As my sorrow seeps into drizzles of these bistreams
The pain, swallowed,weighed, and drowned
Two piquant ribbons drenched with rue
Now embrace my breasts, stiffling the silent scream
Caressing me in liquid remorse yet satisfaction I feel
As they trace my slowing heart, pleading to set me free.
