Ugly Duckling

Chapter 1

Once upon a time , there was a fat mommy duck hatching her baby eggs with love . She had been waiting for the day her babies hatched . At last ,that day had come. ''My baby ducks are gonna be so lovely. That's what i'm sure about'' she said . But after the egg hatched , she said again
''Oh my goodness . What is this thing ? I don't think this is mine '' . This duckling is so ugly and she hates her so much . So she drove this poor duckling away . The duckling was tottering with broken heart . Crying .

''That's not suprising at all, the ugly duckling is deserved to be driven away'' the girl said to her nanny

''Think about this , my young lady. No matter how different people are, everyone has his own beauty , you know ?'' the nanny said . ''Who knows .. one day the ugly duckling may turn into a beautiful swan queen'' she continued

''How could it turn into swan ? It cannot go under the knife for a plastic surgery.'' the girl replied

''because that's how it ends in the fairytale,do you want to know the ending of this story ?'' the girl nodded ''it's actually not a duck , it becomes a gracious swan queen,so what we learn from this story is that ...

''Don't be fool like this mummy duck . Better be sure when you hatch someone else's eggs'' the nanny let out frustrated sigh hearing the girl answer

''My lady , the answer is that we should be proud of what we have . Even though we are different but we also have beauty in our own way'' the girl just smiling hearing her nanny answer .''Why do you tell the story like i'm a little girl . I'm 18 years old now , you know ?'' the girl asked

The nanny just smiling staring at her .
''Do i look pretty ?'' the girl tilting her head when asking her nanny . ''Very very very pretty, my lady'' the nanny stroking her hair ''You're so gorgeous'' she complimented

''Take a picture of me'' she handling her phone to her nanny ''don't make me look fat ,okey ?'' she said

''okay , okay i'll make you look slim'' the nanny said chuckling ''okay , 1..2...3 click !'' The pictures turns out pretty that makes the girl smiling looking at her own face.

Hayoung POV

''oppa !'' Hayoung wave her hand to the man that just arrived at her house

''Baby !'' the man get out from his car .
''Wow , my baby looks so pretty today.'' he said

''What about the other days ?'' she smiled

''My baby is pretty everyday'' he said chuckling ''When we arrive, people are sure gonna look at you .. I don't like it, i don't want them to look at my baby'' the man tch-ed

''How cute my oppy is !'' i pinched his cheeks '' Let's take a selfie! '' i said

''Okay .. 123 ! Click!'' after that i posting the photo of us together at instagram

So this is my so called enviable life of me , Oh Hayoung . I have everything people are envious of , looks , body and everything . I was born in a powerful family of OH LEGACY . I have a good-looking boyfriend who is also rich named Yoo Seungho . He's also nice to me too . I also have close female friends who know what i want . Everybody says i'm one of the luckiest girl in the world . Don't ''meh'' yet on my story . Have you ever heard that you should be happy just what you have? When you are greedy , the doom is bound to happen.

I woke up from my deep slumber sleep and the first thing that i reach is my phone, i immediately checking up my instagram and starting to read the comments . My eyes caught a few comments that makes my eyes goes wide .

What a wide face .

Can her face be any rounder ?

Is this a face of a girl or a bus wheel?

When i'm about to reply those comments , suddenly my phone is blowing up and my boyfriend name is appear on the screen . I immediately slide the green icon.

''piggy ~'' he started

''Why calling me a piggy? Do you want to have a fight ?'' i said frustrated

''What's wrong with you , dear? Why are you sulky on me ?'' he asked on the other line

I whined ''Oppa ~ do you think my face is wide ?''

''Well ... It's ... Not'' but he sounded unsure

''Seriously??'' i asked

''No , not at all . Your cheeks may be a bit chubby'' my eyes gone wide hearing that answer

''Huh ? What?'' I asked

''Which make you very cute'' he said

''Oppa ! There're comments on my ig saying that my face is like a bus wheel . How come you never warn me when i eat?'' i asked frustrated

''uh , stop worrying about it babe . You're pretty . For your age ,this is what they call baby fat .'' he said

''Fat??? '' i shouted ''You really do think that i'm fat , right ?'' i asked

''uh , no it's not like that . Don't be angry . How about i take you to eat pavlova ? You'll be in a good mood when you eat .'' he said excited

'' pavlova .....? I'm not gonna eat any pavlova from now on . I'm going to be on a diet . Why don't you try to understand me?'' after that i immediately hung up the calls .

''arghh !!'' i slammed my face at my pillow.
