"I said, Ethan finally woke up after HOURS of being captured!" The Host said, a little frustrated. Ethan opened his eyes and he was in a glass box that had no door, at least it didn't look like it. "Hey! Let me out of here! Who are you, and what is this place?!" Ethan asked as he pounded on the glass. "I'm The Host, and you're in my game! And if you win, you get to go free." The Host said. "Awesome." Ethan said. "But, if you lose, you pay with your life." The Host said with a sickening smile that Ethan couldn't see. Ethan's face drained into terror as the tank started to fill up with water.
"What is this sick game?!" Ethan asked frantically. "You have to find a way out of this tank, before you drown in it. You have 2 minutes." The Host said, his voice then dissipating into the air. Ethan frantically searched for a key, a switch, anything to escape, but he couldn't find anything. "No, no, no! This can't be happening!" Ethan panicked. The water was filling up quickly and Ethan didn't have time left. "Why are you guys so oblivious?! FIND IT IN YOURSELF TO ESCAPE!" The Host said, starting to get angry at their lack of common sense. Ethan let his words echo in his mind as his hand moved to his pocket, finding a pocket knife.
"Oh!" Ethan exclaimed before the water went over his mouth. The water has now reached over top his head, so he had to be quick. He opened the knife and slammed the sharp end into the glass door, making a crack form. He thrusts it harder, the knife going through the door and some of the water draining out. He slammed his fist as hard as he could through the water, smashing the door as he collapsed to the ground, coughing up water. After he cleared his lungs, he got up from the ground, realizing that he was in a room, with a locked door. "Oh, come on! Another door?!" Ethan shouted. "Yes, and you're lucky I'm not giving you a time limit for this one. You just need to find the key." The Host said in a slightly irritated tone.
Ethan looked around the dimly lit room, searching for the key. He was thinking of places where it could be, and he suddenly thought of something. He cautiously went back into the tank where he woke up in and looked inside of it, seeing metal grates on the floor below it, and tied to it, the key to the door. "Oh, thank god!" Ethan exclaimed to himself as he grabbed the key. He unlocked the metal door, pushing it open with a loud creak. He walked out of the room into the dark hallway. "Congratulations. You made it past the 1st part. Why don't you go find someone while I finish with my work?" The Host said, smiling...
