Chapter 1

From a very young age, Joanne's mother would talk to her about everything, and she'd talk to her about everything. They were really close. Joanne enjoyed talking about love, she always believed that she had to wait for the "perfect one". Little did she know, they could be two...

It is the first day of Joanne's work today. She's excited, anxious and stressed. Also still hoping to find the one today... Anyway, things are going great so far! Oh, did i mention that Joanne is working at a toy store? Well, now you know. She's always loved kids, and since she doesn't have any, she can at least be close to them at stores.

It has now been 2 hours since Joanne started working, it seems like it's been ages. She's so tired. The good thing is that she made a new friend! Her name is Angelie. She seems like a pretty nice girl i'd say. She met many little kids... she just wishes she could hug each one of them!

Finally! Joanne is out of work... which means she can actually sit on the couch and watch movies all evening.

*phone beeps*

On Messages:

Angelie: Hey Joanne! Are you free tonight? I was thinking of going out and eat some pizza or something.. maybe you'll meet "the one" LOL

Joanne: Oh shut up.. yeah i'm free, but how about going uce skating? i forgot to mention i hate pizza!

Angelie: Alright then! Ice skating it is. Meet me outside of the mall at 8.

Joanne: Great! I'll be there.

Joanne turned of her phone and her mom walked in.

Mom(Emma): Soo who was it?

Joanne: Oh it was just uh Angelie.. we're going ice skating!

Emma: Oh honey that's great! I'll let you get ready.

As Joanne was driving to the mall she couldn't help but think about Angelie's words.. "you might meet the one". what if she does? is it even going to last? how will she now?

Joanne went in the mall and spotted Angelie. She seemed very excited, not gonna lie.

They wore their skates on and got on the ice. Joanne was having so much fun. Everything was perfect, but it got even more perfect. A tall, brown haired, cute smile, hazel eyes and soft cheecks fell on her knees while he was attempting to ice skate for the first time. Joanne helped him get up and after that they started talking. His name is Marcus. He's a bit shy but he is funny, cute, hot and probably the one. Joanne tried to help him and teach him how to skate. He was smiling a lot, which made Joanne smile. A lot.

After a lot of ice skating Marcus held Joanne's hand and asked her to go get a hot chocolate. Joanne felt like her heart was glowingg of joy. Marcus went to get the hot chocolate and he was back very quickly. They drank the chocolate and then they stared at each other doing nothing but thinking. what could each one of them possibly think? This lasted a while, until marcus decided to show Joanne her thoughts. He looked in her eyes and leaned in, while feeling her soft breath. Joanne went closer until they felt each others lips. Joanne has never felt this way before, how can a stranger make her feel so special?
