Marcos slid his tongue over his polished teeth, as he took one last look at the woman before standing. He carefully monitored his footsteps and he crossed the marble floor. "Hello.", he said to the young woman, as he took a seat at the bar. "Hello." She slurred. He smiled as she did this, knowing his victory would be easy. "I'm Marcos. Marcos Crossivich." he said beaming. "Nice to meet you." she said. "Would you like me to escort you home?" Marcos asked. She nodded and tried to stand up unsuccessfully. Marcos grabbed her hand and guided her over the Marble floor of the Gillete hotel.
Marcos had pre meditated every move to make. He took her to his car and secured her inside. When he shut the door, her short dress got shut up and he carefully opened the door and fixed the purple lace back inside. Her face was beautiful, even with the mass amounts of makeup. He got inside the black Bentley and started the ignition. He didn't bother to ask for directions to her home, he knew the way to the beach. The countless amounts of hours he spent on that beach front were seared in his mind. That is where he became a vampire, and where he intended to stay a vampire until his death on that shady shore.
He drove around until she passed out, and then he got on the back road to his beach spot. He drove slowly and in absolute darkness to prevent being seen by anyone that would question him. He saw the beautiful beach scene come into focus, as he approached the beach front. When his Bentley had hit the sand, he emerged quietly and carefully opened her door. He slid her out onto the beach. As he drug her down, she started to open her eyes, he noticed this and stopped in a dead stop. He quickly hit the ground and grabbed her by the neck. She started to scream and he took one hand from pinning her down to cover her mouth to muffle the cries.
After he was done he sat on the beach, talking to the corpse as if it were alive and listening. "You know, I wasn't always this way." he began. "I was born on November 27, 1701, to good parents, and to a wonderful life. I was seventeen the day I met Lucan. Lucan Silpis was a worker on my father's vineyard and I felt sorry for him being homeless so I helped him. I helped him buy bread for meals, and I helped him find shelter in the warehouse, and this is how he repaid me.
I came in late one night to tell him father was preparing to inspect the warehouse, and he was nowhere to be found. I called for him, "Lucan, Lucan", without as much as a whimper in return. I began to frantically search the warehouse. I checked every room, and crevasse, until alas I found him. He was sitting in the farthest back room, looking like a maniac. I called to him, "Lucan, father's preparing to inspect the building and you must leave." He looked up at me with red glowing eyes, and he yelled back, "You must leave quickly." I walked in closer and saw a limp body. At the time I couldn't tell if it was human or an animal, but I fled.", He carried on to the corpse, as he did so the sun was rising and he carefully picked her lifeless body up and walked near the sea. He walked in until the water was at his waist, then he let her slowly float away. "Such a shame," He whispered, "I didn't even learn the woman's name."
He was silent all the way home, oblivious to anything around him. Marcos was telling the truth when he said he'd been normal. He was living a dream. He was a son of a noble, which meant that'd he'd probably inherit it all, since he was the only son. That was all trashed and scattered when Lucan did what he did.
Lucan didn't leave that night and Marcos got his father to cancel the inspection. The next day when Lucan didn't show up to work, he went looking for him. He found Lucan next to a stretch of sea line lying in the sand. He ran to him, thinking he was hurt, and found him fully awake and fine. As he sat down, Lucan grabbed him by the neck, and pinned him to the ground. Marcos felt two major pinpricks and then, he slowly went blank.
When he awoke, he was on the sandy beach side, under a tree. He was weak and in pain. He slowly looked around for Lucan, and to his luck Lucan was long gone. Marcos had no real clue what happened until, he had a craving. A craving for blood, warm, juicy, and nourishing blood. It was so overwhelming he acted upon it. Uneducated in the vampire ways, he made a major mistake like Lucan, He let the prey go. Luckily it was a small pig and it wasn't really noticed, it didn't stop them from eating it for dinner later on.
