One Day, you may wake and dont feel the way you always felt. You go outside standing in the sun for more than five hours and your skin starts to burn so you go into the house and take a bath. You noticed your nails starts to change colors from white to yellow to yellow and fell off. You cook your favorite meal and tried to eat it and it doesnt taste good and get sick. You wake up in severe pain and somebody take you to the doctor and you tell your doctor what have happened in the past few days. They take a blood test and found out you have lupus in your skin. You ask "What can I take for it?"

And they say "Here is some cream for your skin and went you put it on , you cant go outside in the sun because it will make your skin bleed. So you go home and look in the mirror and see baby knots in your head and neck. You put on the cream and lay down. You noticed you getting worst. People with lupus are dealing with it bad like my mom. She have lupus in her skin, knots in her head and nails are falling off. Her skin burns when she be in the sun too long. It's killing her everyday and I pray to god every night to take the pain away from my mom. God gave her this sickness to see to see if can handle the pain. God put  through trail and see what we can do. Lupus in a trail amd my mom is going through it and see is fighting it like a solider. I hate seeing her in pain. I cry ever time I see her in pain. God bless every person with lupus. This poem is for you.
