Prologue - Thanks For The 'Love'

Hoseok stares in shock at the sight in front of him.

Two lines showing in the little window on both pregnancy test. He feels sick, but at the same time he feels so happy. Sick for not knowing if his mate will be okay with it and happy knowing he would have a pup of his own. That he could possibly have a complete family now. But that was of course...if his lover would accept it.

He knew Yugyeom wasn't too big on having kids - with him always saying he isn't ready yet or he will be too busy with work to even help Hoseok out, but they both know it's a lie. Each music company - really any business at all - are given three months off to help their mates after giving birth. Yet, Yugyeom didn't want to do that.

Hoseok still remembers how he had brought the topic up, how his mate specifically said, "I would never do that, I hope I would never have to."

It broke Hoseok's heart, so he tried to make sure they always used protection and took his morning pills so he wouldn't end up getting pregnant. As long as his mate was happy, he would do anything for him.

He loved the man with all his heart.

But now, as he hears the door slam from downstairs, he starts to feel regret sinking deep within him.

"Hoseok? I'm home!"

The younger panics and scrambles to hide the pregnancy test, hiding them under the sink quickly. Footsteps approaching much faster.

"Babe?" He hears from behind him and it surprises Hoseok, jumping at his voice and turning around quickly. God, I hope he didn't see...

"Yeom! You scared me!" He exclaims, putting a hand over his heart dramatically. His mate chuckles and goes up to Hoseok, wrapping his arms around the other and breathing in his scent. Hoseok practically melts into the embrace, not wanting to leave his lovers arms until he feels Yugyeom lift his head - glancing at the cabinet underneath the sink - wondering what his mate had hidden from him.

"Something wrong?" He hears Hoseok ask, and he can tell he is nervous from not only the shakiness in his voice but also his scent has now come off stronger. He pulls away from the younger, eyebrows knitted together.

"I was going to ask you the same thing."

Hoseok widens his eyes, also noticing the change in his scent, but he tries to tone it down. Tries not to show how absolutely terrified he is right now.

"Oh! Nothing, really." Hoseok says, plastering on a smile that he hopes is believable.

"Hoseok I could smell your scent from miles away, something is off." Yugyeom pushes and pulls away from his mate to get a closer look at him. His leg was bouncing up and down, lip bitten and now more red than usual. Hands fiddling with the end of his baggy shirt.

"What did you hide?"

Hoseok freezes.

Shit shit shit!

When Yugyeom doesn't get an anwer, he moves Hoseok to the side. He opens the cabinets and thrashes through the supplies until he comes face to face with two test.

"Y-yugyeom w-wait i-"

"You're pregnant."

Hoseok stops, tears forming in his eyes. He didn't want this to happen, he didn't want to lose his love. Not when he was expecting their own child.

Yugyeom stands slowly and has no emotion on his face what so ever. But his scent tells the younger he isn't pleased. It makes Hoseok even more nervous than he already was, making him sick to his stomach. All the slight happiness from before now down the drain.

That is until the younger sees his mates hands curl into fist. Now walking towards their shared closet and stuffing everything he could into bags. There was no way he wanted to take care of a child - their pup - when he wasn't even ready yet. He never wanted to get his mate pregnant at this stage of his career.

He just never wanted something to fuck up his life and now here he is, getting news that his mate is pregnant. It was a big deal, yes, but at the time he wanted nothing to do with his mate.

"Yugyeom please, wait!" Hoseok sobs out, following his mate as he runs down the steps carefully. He grabs onto his mates hand, his inner wolf craving to be held and loved instead of being neglected. The older turn's around quickly, pushing his mate off.

"Have fun finding a new mate." He says bitterly, making the younger cry harder.

"No, no, please! Stay! I can't go through this alone!"

Yugyeom scoffs, and hoseok's heart breaks even more. He had hope, he had hope that his mate wouldn't be this mad, that he would change his mind and just stay with him. But apparently, that wasn't the case at all. He was still so heartless about having a child, Hoseok thought he loved him.

And oh how he thought so wrong.

"Way to go and ruin not only your life, but mine."

Hoseok stares in disbelief, how was this ruining his mates life if he was the one walking out on him? If Hoseok was honest, he wasn't ruining anything for the other. The thought itself made him angry, made him never want to see his mate again even if he didn't want to. He was hurt, tired, and drained and the least he could do was take a first step in letting go.

"You know what? Fuck you!" He Shouts out with tears still rolling down his face. He pushes the other out the door, making him stumble in the process.

"Thanks for the love, you so called alpha." Hoseok says bitterly, before slamming the door shut and falling to his knees, sobbing uncontrollably.

Sooo this is just a little intro/back story but either way hope it was interesting!

I'm really excited for this story and have many plans for this but may need some opinions along the way, and don't worry i love Yugyeom but in this story he's kind of a dick? I'll try not to make him like that the whole story (｡>﹏<｡)
