Holding my breath I let the noise sink in. The sound of the waves crashing. The sound of silence under water. The sound of my heartbeat. The loudest noise, silence.

My head struggled to get out of the water and I breathed in the air. The beach. The most beautiful scenery I could imagine. Instead of having my decency to go to school, I walked straight to the beach. I didn't care if anyone saw me. I don't care about anything. I don't care about what they think of me. I don't even know how society works. I don't understand it. It's so screwed up. You follow the pressure. Well screw it. I don't follow rules. I make my own. First rule: show no care in the world. Second: don't let anyone in. Third: Have fun and be yourself. Fourth: follow rules one, two, and three. I've nevee broken these rules and I guess that's why I have no friends. But I love it. I love being alone. You don't have to lool like a loner when your friend doesn't come because basically you don't have one. I don't want anyone to come and tell me how to feel and act. Once you become friends they take control of you and your feelings. I'd rather not. So keeping my life simple. I follow my own rules.

Oh, by the way I'm Alexa. But yuck, call me Alex.
