Sam was moving Dean out of the run-down building, holding his hand over Dean's where he was stabbed. They continued on for a few minutes when Dean suddenly moved to sit on some wood boards that were in the building. Dean knew that this was the end.

"Sam, hold up," Dean quietly said. Sam helped him sit and then looked at his brother; panic was starting to build in his chest as he was realizing that it was too late for Dean.

"I gotta say something to you," Dean whispered and then said with more strength, "I'm proud of us." Dean patted Sam's cheek and Sam tried to smile at his brother. He wanted that to be the last thing that he sees, but he couldn't do it. Then Dean slowly fell into Sam's chest; his eyes slowly closing as well.

"No, no, no, hey, hey, hey, hey, wake up, buddy. Hey, Dean. Dean!" Sam looked at Dean's beat up face and held it in his hands. He then pulled him into his chest and started crying.

Sam's big brother was dead. The one who played rock music in the impala too loud and made fun of him for eating salads; the one who was a huge nerd about star trek and batman but hid it with his 'I don't give a shit' attitude; the one who closed off Sam to his real feelings and drank them instead. The brother who loved him unconditionally and never stopped loving him even when Sam seemed to.

Sam held his brother there and cried for several more minutes. He felt completely hopeless. And then, Sam got an idea. Cas was in heaven, so that may mean that Cas could hear him if he called out for him. Cas could save Dean.

"Cas!" Sam called out with a hoarse voice, he cleared his throat and then continued to call out. "Cas, Dean needs you! Cas, please, Dean is dead." Sam let out a sob after saying that but then went on, "Cas! Cas, please come down here!" Sam continued to cry a bit as he waited for Cas, hoping against hope that somehow Cas could hear him.

"Cas, please," Sam whispered one last time.

Cas was locking Metatron into a cell in the heaven jail when Hannah said, "You're doing the right thing. Letting him live. It's what a leader would do."

But she was quickly interrupted by Cas saying, "I'm no leader, Hannah. I never was. I just wanna be an angel."

Hannah was about to reply to Cas when screaming started to be heard throughout heaven. Cas' thoughts stopped in their tracks when he heard Sam's unmistakable voice call out for him. Cas knew right away that he had to get down to Earth, he had to try to save Dean. He had to.

Cas turned to Hannah and was about to say this but Hannah knew that he wanted to go and she said, "Castiel you can't get down to heaven, much less resurrect Dean! You have almost no grace left! If you do this you will die."

"But I have to, Hannah." She gave Cas an exasperated look before he continued on, "You are going to bring me down to heaven," Cas stated confidently.

"Castiel, I don't think I can do that," started Hannah.

"Can't or won't," Cas asked bitterly.

"We need you Castiel, we need you in heaven as our leader. We can't do this without you!" Hannah said trying to make Cas understand that he can't risk his life like that.

"I can't do anything without Dean!" Cas shouted, anger filling his every vein. "I can't live in any world without Dean Winchester!" The image of the angel blade with Dean's blood burned behind his eyes every time his blinked and he tried to calm the panic steadily filling his chest.

Hannah sighed, she was beginning to see that there was no way for her to get out of this. "Fine, I will take you down to Earth. But you are making a big mistake, Castiel."
