You have let me into your endless wave
which is so brave.
But I do not think you can save
the "forever" in which you crave
because I cannot promise my heart
from the very start
of a life that is full of discovery.
I know this will be a hard recovery.
You have shown me how to live life
without any strife.
I thank you for your sea
which you provided for me.
But I can not let the waves keep rolling
and me keep strolling
like I am perfectly fine
with this life of mine.
