Chapter 1: Do I love him

(Lindsey's POV)

I'm sitting in my room staring at a picture of him. Do I love him? He's so cute and nice I really trust him.

but do you love him??

The voice in my head kept asking me if I loved him.

well do you???

I think I do I'm gonna call him. It rung twice before he picked up.

Hello

"Hey Matt its me."

"Oh" he said shakily "Hey Lindsey"

"I wanna tell you something. I love you Matt. I really do I have since the fourth grade."

Silence filled the air

"Lindsey, I don't know what to say"

"Don't talk just listen I'm gonna sing you some songs" I sighed. Here goes

(1 month earlier)

"I love you Peyton.". Peyton is my on again off again boyfriend.

"That's nice Lindsey" He was too focused on my body to be paying attention to what I was saying.

He started kissing me sucking on my neck hard.

"Stop Peyton didn't you hear me I said I love you."

"Oh babe I love you too. now can we go back to kissing?"

"Peyton!"

He had grabbed by the waist and is now kissing me passionately. He put his hand on my thigh as we layed down and he was on top of me.

I pushed him off and he got back on me. He was rubbing me and leaving sloppy kisses all over my body.

"I said stop!" I pushed him off with all my might and then we were both sitting up on his bed. Where's a nosy parent when u need one?

"Babe I love you but I am a man. I have my needs and you clearly don't understand."

"I do but I don't want our relationship to be all about sex. I want to talk sometimes."

"Talk about what?! Fuck Lindsey Im sick of talking you're gonna have to give it away at some point."

"But not right now I'm still not ready."

"Well you haven't been ready for a year now so, I think we should take a break."

"oh. Well bye Peyton."

I got up and left. When I got in my car I couldn't help but cry. I went home a dialed my best friend, Meloni's number.

"hello?"

"hey Mel. Can I come over? I really need to get as far away from boys as possible since I have 3 brothers and you have all sisters. Lucky."

"haha sure u can come over."

"k be there in 5" I hung up and got to Meloni's house. Its freckin huge.

"heyyy bestie!!" Meloni said then gave me a big hug.

"hey um can we talk??" I asked her

"sure come in."

"That jerk!!!" Meloni practically screamed.

"I Know! I just feel like getting your dads shotgun and-"

"-And shoot him over and over I know." Meloni finished.

"And that's why we are best friends." I laughed. I know Meloni can make me feel better no matter what. I hadn't noticed she left.

"I'm backkkk." she said kinda spooking me.

"Damn it Meloni I was about to shit my pants."

"Um....ok then? I just went to get ice cream and cookies. Time to soak our sorrows in food and sad movies."

"Fine but first I gotta pee" I whine.

"Whatever" Meloni said barely listening.

I go into the bathroom and turn on lights I look in the mirror and notice something unbelievable. "A fucking hickie" I whisper to myself.

"A what!?" Meloni said sneaking up on me yet again.

"Dam it Meloni! Anyways look how the hell am I gonna explain this to my mom."

"I have some make-up in my room well cover it up. If that doesn't work we'll just say u burned yourself with a curling iron it works every time. "

I started to laugh "You and your tricks."

"yeah.....now let's go watch movies."

"okay okay" I say as we plop down on her couch.
