Chapter Seven - Mystery

*Roy's POV*

It's the next day, the rain is still pouring heavily as we meet at one of the hotel's freezer room. Yesterday, we decide that we doesn't want the body to rot, so we have place it in a deserted freezer till the police arrive. We all wore thick winter coats and a mask as we went in. Great. Just great. Winter coats on summer and it's raining outside with a dead body and we're stuck on paradise island. Which is not so paradise at all. How does all this makes sense? While I don't know. I just know that all this are real. Alice and Qian Xi slowly walk up to the corpes with gloves and inspected it.

Yesterday, Alice had asked Qian Xi to be her assistant for this case... 

Flashback to Yesterday

"So what's going to happen now?" Erman asked, messaging his temples as he speaks. He look stress and defeated over this matter.

"I'll have to investigate the body tomorrow." Alice said quietly standing up.

"Alice, I know you love solving crimes. But this is not something you can play with. This is serious matter." Alvin replied gently.

"I'm not kidding around either. The police won't catch the killer on time. The rains pouring in... I'll just gather some blood substance in this tub and find out who this mysterious person is." She say using a dropper to collect the crystal red blood sample.

"I think we'll need to keep the corpes somewhere cold." Qian Xi simply say as Erman nodded in agreement before ordering two muscular guards to handle the body.

The rain starts pouring in then, so we rush into the hotel and parted ways with Alice's brothers before heading to the lobby's Cafe.

"I'm hungry!" I groan as I pat my empty stomach.

"Hai... you're always hungry." Jun Kai mumble.

"Actually I'm hungry too. I want a red velvet cake with green tea mochi drink!" Nikki replied, glaring at Jun Kai.

"Then I'll have a strawberry cake, a cheese waffle and a Oreo Ice blended."
Tiffany said happily.

"I'm not hungry at all. Just order a hot chocolate for me." Alice said.

"I'll have a black coffee. Thanks. Me and Alice will go and find a sit." Qian Xi smile a little before following Alice.

Woah... what is wrong with them? They're not hungry? Alice is always hungry no matter what.

"So what have you guys find out?" Nikki asked while she drank her drink, staring at Qian Xi and Alice curiously.

"I've sent the blood sample to Alvin since he study Forensic in university. And at least we know that the killer is still around on this Island as there's a big storm, he is not able to leave this island." Alice pause.

"And just now, I discover something amiss." Qian Xi said.

We all look at him curiously before he continue. "Remember the note that's left by the killer? I think he or she is giving us clues, wanting to challenge us."

"What?! What makes you think that?" Nikki asked shockingly, eyes wide.

"The killer knows that there will be a big storm coming to stop the police on the main Island from coming here. Why would he or she put a so obvious note there if the police is not coming? The person must know that we would step into this matter and try to solve the mystery. So the murderer must be someone who knows us. From the frist day we've meet." Qian Xi finished.

"Then who could it be?" Tiffany questioned.

"We don't really know who it is either. I still think there's more clues waiting for us to discover." Alice said, seriously.
