Salt

So I had to write a story from the salt's POV of a  volcano that uses salt and oil and food coloring

Salt POV

I feel myself getting shaken out of the shaker along with a lot of my brothers and sisters. I look down and see that we are going into a beaker with two immiscible liquids. I fall a little away from a pile of my sibling and then I see that the more of my siblings fall onto the pile, the more dense the pile becomes until they fall through the layer of a very viscous oil and into the water below. I watch as they start to dissolve because they are very soluble in water. I then look up out of the beaker and see a drop of colorful liquid fall. It passes through the oil I am floating on and then expands once it hits the water. I then see another drop of colorful liquid but this time it falls on some of my brothers and sisters and it doesn't immediately expand into the water but instead goes all the way to the bottom of the beaker and then explodes.
