Lilith..

I wake up, and I feel rejuvenated and fresh; like I had the best night of sleep ever.

I sit up and stretch, put on my glasses and survey my surroundings: dress hung up and away, corset over my vanity chair, noon-time sun peering into my cracked window. 'Wait! What?'

That's when it hits me, 'How did I get in bed? Why am I in my underwear? Why is my window cracked?!'

I fling myself out of bed and fall over onto the cold floor at the dizziness that suddenly strikes down my, what was, amazing feeling body.

"Lilith?"

I look up and find my brother, "Adrian?!"

Another wave of realization hits me, Sebastian was here last night. 'That creep! He held me while I was crying.. crying about that dream! That really weird dream.. but why did I let him hold me?! Was I drugged? What the bloody hell is wrong with me?!'

"Lilith! Are you okay?"

My brother's concerned voice snaps me out of my rant filled thoughts, "Oh! Yeah, sorry brother." I slowly get up and try to pat my underclothing free of wrinkles. "I just had a nightmare, but why are you here?" I say truly confused on why he's actually here in the first place.

"Well, you yelled my name last night and I came to see what was wrong and I found you in the arms of your admirer." He smirked at me.

"Oh shut it, ya bastard!" I grumble, grabbing my emerald green silk robe and pushing past him so I can find something to eat.

"Lilith dear, I have a question. Or really a slew of questions." My brother says following me.

"What it is?" I stop dead in my tracks and turn to face him.

"What made you call out to me last night?"

"Oh, uhh.. I had a bad dream." I tell him with a bit of nervousness in my tone. Turning back around, I walk into my kitchen to find a huge breakfast cooked for me. From bacon to eggs; to grits to flapjacks and marmalade. "Did you make all this?" I ask. He nods.

"Looks good." I say, trying to get him of the subject.

"Lilith. I'm being serious. I need you to answer." My brother rarely gets this way because of his quirky, laid back attitude.

I take a sit at the table and look down at the food. "Okay." I sigh.

"What happened in the dream?"

I start cutting my eggs as I explain. "Well, in the dream I woke up and saw a woman looking down at me. She was beautiful with silver hair and dark blue eyes-" I stop with a gasp and drop my fork. I sit there for a second at the moment of shocking realization.

I look over at my older sibling, "Silver hair." I point to myself, "Blue eyes."

"Continue." Adrian urges.

"She told me that I.. I wasn't who I thought I was, and something about.. something about blue shining brighter than green."

I rack my brain for more, "Oh! Then she started walking away and joined hands with a man, I think he had blonde hair. Then out of no where a shining white death scythe came out and chopped off the woman's head. The man got really angry and tried to kill the person that wielded the scythe but he or she used some type of magic and contorted his body up in mid air, breaking his neck, then dropped him. His head turned towards me and showed me a glimpse of green eyes. Reaper eyes." I stop, not able to say anymore; not wanting to say anymore.

I look at my brother, hoping to see an emotion on his face, but his poker face and covered eyes make it impossible.

"Adrian?" My voice shakes.

He doesn't answer, just paces in thought. He's always been bad about that when he's worried. The last time I remember him doing that was when we were waiting to here a word about Grell. The idiot had gotten himself kidnapped by a demon, or should I say let the "extreme hottie" take him, "the damsel in distress", to his lair. My brother nearly killed him for making us worry!

"Adrain! What's wrong? Tell me!" I plead.

The silver reaper continued to ignore his sister's pleads as he started to leave.

"Adrian! Stop it!" She yelled at him and grabbed his cloak sleeve in her hand and yanked him back. "Tell me what's going on? Why are you getting so worried?"

Slowly he turned and opened his palm, Lilith's eyes widened and she tried to run away from him, but he already blew the sparkling sliver powder in her face. She looked up at him as she sank to the ground, "Damn you, nii-chan."

He winced at the name she called him by, remembering when after they visited Japan when she was young how she picked up a few words and phrases and would say them with him. She knew that it would hit him right in the heart and make feel even more guilty.

"I'm sorry, nii-chan." He closed his hidden eyes and felt a single tear roll down his cheek as he picked her up and laid her in her bed.

Making sure there was no evidence he had been there.

Sebastian..

"Sebastian. Go get the door." My master orders.

I bow obediently, "Yes, my lord."

I make my way down the stairs of the manor and across the large foyer. "Yes?" I say as I open the huge oak door. On the other side is one of the last people I would have expected.

"Hello Undertaker. What brings you to the manor?" I ask more out of curiosity than anything.

"Hello, Mr. Sebastian. I have come only to inform you of a certain event that concerns you." His voice and body language are calm, but I feel a sense of uneasiness radiating around him. It makes me think of Lilith and my worrying kicks in.

"Is something the m-matter?" My tone shows my worry by shaking.

"Heavens no. I just happened to have to erase some Lilith's memory because of some memories that popped up. She will not remember your encounter last night." He says as easily as if it was a regular conversation topic.

"How do you know of that?" I blurt.

"I just do, butler. So don't say anything about last night to her. The powder wasn't that strong, so of you say something about it, it could bring back what I have made her forget. Forgive me." Then the silver shinigami vanished into thin air.

"She forgot." I whisper; the words like poison on my lips.

Lilith rose out of bed feeling odd. Looking at her clock, it read 1:27. "That's a little odd. I never sleep this late." She mumbled, grabbing her glasses and placing them on her face.

She put on her silk robe and walked into her living room. Throughly, she inspected her surroundings. 'Nothing's out of place. Nothing looks different.'

"Brrroew."

The blonde reaper jumps at the sudden noise. "Geez Killer. You scared me."

The white cat doesn't reply, he just rubs his scent all over her exposed shins. "Hold on and I'll feed you." She laughs as she goes into the kitchen to grab a can of his "gourmet" canned cat food. She opens the can an the feline starts meowing.

"Calm down Killer!" She giggles. Cats seem to always put her in a good mood.

Leaving the cat be, she walks all over her house in search of the thing giving her an odd feeling, but nothing comes up. "How peculiar. I feel like I'm forgetting something."

Even after her, thought to be through, search, she doesn't notice the single sparkle of powder that was accidentally left behind on her living room carpet.
