Violet
It was a warm spring morning. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and the flowers were blooming. It seemed like your average day. That day, I felt like taking a walk on the beach. I will never forget that day.
I walked along the shoreline, listening to the calming sound of the waves crashing to the beach and closed my eyes. Soon, to my surprise, I tripped over something.
"Oww, what was that?" I said to myself, getting up and brushing the sand off my dress.
To my surprise, it wasn't a washed up piece of driftwood, it was a person, lying face-down on the beach.
I rushed to help them.
"H-hey!" I shook them.
They seemed to be unconscious, but breathing.
Upon further inspection of their face, I found the person was a girl, about 15 or 16, dressed in soaked clothes and wearing weird gloves. I decided to try and take her back to the orphanage with me and get her checked out.

Half an hour later, she woke up.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
Her mouth moved, but no sound came out.
"Here, drink this," I offered her a glass of water that she gulped down quickly.
"W-where am I?" she asked.
"You're currently in Lietus, south of Aurora," I answered, "Can you remember anything at all?"
"N-no," she looked apologetic, "I can only remember my name, Shiki."
"I'm Violet. Nice to meet you, Shiki."

Now that I think about it, this could have worked as a prologue, but this ideas came a while after and I'm too lazy to change it. Another title to this chapter could have been "The Prologue to the Prologue." Leave a vote if you like it and a comment telling me what you think. I'd appreciate it.
