you had an annual doctor's appointment at a nearby hospital.
you made your way to the hospital, not feeling excited because it was just an annual routine.

"kim sohye, please go in, its your turn," as one of the nurses announced.

"hi sohye, how are you," as doctor. joon greeted you, with a bright smile.

"well im here for you to check haha" as i replied, laughing. "im good, how about you doctor?" responding politely.

"do you have any complaints?" doctor. joon asked.

"not really, but i've been getting headaches the past few months but it only got worse recently, i've fainted almost thrice last week because of the headache" as i told him about my complaint.

"ah do you experience fatigue, sleep problems, vomiting and memory changes ?" the doctor further asked.

"yes, sometimes,and i feel drowsy even when i did not take any drug/medicine," you replied.

"ah i see, could we take a few tests to confirm, it could be a disease." as he requested.

as you proceeded to do those tests, you could feel your heart beating, you felt afraid and scared that the results might be live changing.

"we will call you when we have the results out, it might take a few days up to a week," the nurse said.

(skipping for 4 days)

"hi kim sohye, this is from Seoul National University Hospital, and you may come to collect your results," the nurse called.

"okay, ill come by this afternoon,thank you," you replied.

your pov

"ah shit" as thoughts came flooding my mind.

(skipping till afternoon, when i went to the hospital to collect my results)

i could hear my heart beating faster and faster as you get closer and closer into the hospital.i was afraid of the results.

as i collected the results and medicine, i hesitated to open the envelope but i knew i had to, so, i opened it up and looked at the results....

final diagnosis : stage 3 brain tumor

estimated time left : 1 year

as soon as i saw that, tears started welling up in my eyes, i dropped the reults and knelt on the floor and starting weeping. i couldn't believe it, i wanted to denied the fact about it.

after an hour of crying, i decided to return back home as i thought of an idea to hibernate and just sleep till i die.

after much thinking, you decided to accept the facts and wanted to live your live the fullest since you knew you did not have much time left.

all you could think about was jimin, his sweet voice, cute eye smile and his adorable laughter.

thus, without much hesitation, you gave jimin a call, acting like you were all healthy and happy.

"hey jimin, you wanna go grab a drink and i have something to confess," you said.

"sure ill pick you up from your apartment," jimin asked.

out of the sudden,at that moment, you felt dizzy and fainted before you knew it, dropping the phone fron your ears.

"sohye? sohye? kim sohye? what's happening?? yah!!!! please answer,"jimin says,concerned.

"yah!! kim sohye, are you okay? please answer" as he says profusely.

you could only hear his angelic screaming voice and you knew you were blessed enough. you closed your eyes, and fell into a deep 'coma'.

after 10 minutes , jimin came rushing into your apartment, seeing you lying on the floor, he ran towards you and called for your name, hoping you'll wake up.

without any hesitation, jimin lifted you up and carried you bridal style to his car, to Seoul National University Hospital (because it was the nearest fron your apartment), with tears in his eyes.

(after reaching the hospital)

"she must be over exhausted, its nothing serious, she can go when she wakes up," the doctor said.

"thank you, doctor. joon," jimin said.

*mini flashback*

"if anybody brings me here, when i faint or something, please never disclose my illness, thank you doctor.joon," you plead.

"okay sure but when are you planning to tell to your next of kin etc.?" the doctor asked.

"when the time is right," you said, smiling slightly,hidding the pain.

*end of flasback*

when you woke up, you thanked jimin and apologized because you wanted to drink with him but couldn't because you were brought to the hospital. all this time, all you could do was to think about him. after receiving the results, you felt like you've lost your direction, you felt lost, finding yourself running directionless,head-in.
