Today was the day link was getting discharged from the hospital after having his therapist come in and catch up with the sessions he missed.

Rhett was so ready to get link out of there, he was sick the constant trips there (of course he didn't blame it on link) But the stress levels that come with worrying can take a toll on all people, including the strong man named Rhett.

He happily signed the papers and handed them back to the front desk.

When he went back to get link, his doctor stopped him for a second.

"Hey Mr Mclaughlin!" he smiled.

"Oh hello Doctor." Rhett forced a smile but just wanted to get link and leave.

"Look.. I was just thinking that I know how hard it can be taking care of your loved one, I know with the amount of medications he's on he will not really be himself. Obviously he will be drowsy etc... So I can solve this problem but it all depends on if you agree on it... "

" Uuuuuummmmm I don't really know what you mean.. And I don't know where you're going with this.. "Rhett replied suddenly wanting to talk more with doctor; I mean he did say he could stop the affects of links medication use.

" I am a believer of the Medical marajuana foundation. It's not illegal if it's for illness and as a doctor I highly believe this will bring link back as close as he was before, maybe even happier! Please, at least think about it. All I want to do is help people.. Its my job, so take this card and do some research. " The doctor handed out a small white card hoping Rhett would take it.

" Wow uhm... In Buis creek back in the day we had a few spliffs here and there, you know how teenagers are; and you know what? Now that you mention it I remember link took a big liking to the stuff, certainly more than me. I think this might actually help! Thankyou so much doctor. " Rhett happily shook his and and slid the card into his wallet.

" Hey Rhett! " Link shouted as the tall blond walked in the room, link seemed just as happy as Rhett to be leaving the hospital finally.

" Hey Linkster, you look so handsome!" He said seeing that he had washed, changed and shaved.
Rhett pecked him on the lips then intertwined his fingers between links.

"T-thank you Rhett." Link blushed and felt safe holding his boyfriends hand.. Which made him think, is that what we are now.. Boyfriends? It felt weird, he had to ask.

"Rhett?.. Are we boyfriends?" he questioned.

"Well... I suppose we are as we are madly in love with eachother!" he chuckled and kissed links hand as they walked out the door, link laughed too thinking how stupid the question was.

In the car:

"we are gonna stay at a hotel for a while link, until we find out perfect home" Rhett said.

"Okay w-where?"

"its a surprise baby." Rhett smirked knowing link wouldnt stop thinking where until he got the answer.

Link sighed in frustration after 5 minutes of trying to get the answer from Rhett and stared out the window.

"When are we getting the kids back?
I miss them and I'm sure they miss us." link looked down and played with the hem of his shirt.

"They're at christys mums, both of our kids. Jessie is there but Christy is being held in custody for what she did." Rhett didn't what to tell link about christy until he was sure he was ready, but it just slipped out his mouth, he couldn't stop himself.
