Chapter 1

Haniyah's POV

"No Way This is going up on our Front Page leah! What is even this? ARE YOU IN YOUR RIGHT MIND YOUNG LADY? I need another photo shoot done the latest by an hour or else you're fired! " I have to go through this everyday. I have been working so hard to make sure Our Mag stays at the top of the chart with bringing real issues into our sessions but...uffff

"But Hani...i D-.....'

'Come on now Leah....' And My phone starts ringing. Shanzay! " Oh hi there Shanzay.....Give me a sec yeah? Leah..Call the photographer one more time please thankyou!" i walked out the conference room. 

"Haan yaar....offcorse i'll make it on time I promise booboo. i can't afford to miss your engagement meri jaan. And after all apke unsay bhi toh milna hai. Don't worry i am headed home in a while i'll be there aight? Hang up already ufff" 

So my jaan , My partner in crime is finally getting married. I have so much on my mind these days that i had almost forgotten. Now to head back home. 

I got into my car and the ride back home was All about Atif Aslam and his songs. "Channa" being my all time favourite on repeat! It's been almost 12 years since i moved to the US but some things you just can't leave behind. Desi at heart forever. 

I picked myself the perfect Rose gold outfit and got ready in no time. I have my jhumkis that shanzay got me, My chudiyaan offcorse, being a full on bollywood fan, chudiyaans are a must offcorse. i have to be at Shanzays' warna she's gonna kill me. 

Waqas's POV

I have to get ready and reach the venue before anyone else does or else Shehry Bhai is gonna kill me. Haan Bhai ki engagement hai ajj. 

"Yes, shehry bhai i am R---- Bhai baat To---Acha i am leaving ok?! i am walking towards my car bhai..Acha---ok sure--bhai chill i am on my way"  Never have i been asked so many questions in my life ever. Better go and get ready.
