Brindy Thompson played by Iris Apatow ~ "Hello, my name is Brindy Thompson, I am 13 years old and 5'1, and I am auditioning for the role of Katy Davis in Stranger Things." I say, looking directly at the camera.
I shut my eyes for a few seconds, getting into character, until I finally open them.
I stand angry and confused in the street, as a boy looking around my age with a dark haired bowl cut stands in front of me.
"What are you doing? Following me I see?" I shout at him with anger filling my voice. He stares back at me with wide eyes, aggressively shaking his head.
"I-I swear I wa-wasn't!" He stutters out nervously, failing at an attempt to not seem scared. I glare at him, eyeing him up and down.
"Well, whatever you were doing, leave me out of it, and leave me alone!" I reply, clenching my fists with anger. "Wait no! I know what you've done and you can't hide it!" He yells out at me, taking me back with surprise. I stand still, and we lock eyes for a few seconds.
"W-who are you? And h-h-how do you know me?" I reply back shakily, with ME being the one to stutter this time.
"My name is Mike Wheeler. And I know what you've been doing Katy Davis." Mike grumbles back at me, leaving me with wide eyes in return.
"Cut!" I hear my bestfriend Maya shout, snapping me out of character .
"Wow Brindy, that was amazing! You really gave me chills with that last part!" She says enthusiastically. I roll my eyes jokingly in return.
"Thanks... but I still feel like it's not enough." I reply sheepishly. "All I've been in are target commercials and small parts in movies. And the other girls auditioning for this part are probably way better and-"
"Dude, are you kidding me?!" Maya screeches, cutting me off. "You are for sure getting the part! Especially if you continue what you just did a minute ago. The Duffer Brothers will be blown away when they watch your audition!" She says, while rewatching my audition.
"Okay, well can you just send in my audition already before I change my mind?" I grumble, grabbing my phone and logging onto twitter.

I put in my earbuds while flopping onto my bed, and I listen to my music while scrolling through Instagram, until I land on a photo of Finn Wolfhard.
