(NALDO POV)

I opened the door to the RV in Shelby's backyard, which doubled as mine and Barry's lab. It was Friday before school, and I typically met up with Barry here, then Cyd and Shelby got us and we all went to school together.

But I was met with a shock, Barry was shirtless.

He was faced away from me, and from what I could see, his hair was ruffled.

It didn't seem like he noticed I was here, so I checked him out for a minute, my gaze going from his broad shoulders, down his firm back, to his waist, where his jeans fit his waist just right.

For a moment, I imagined myself walking up, wrapping my arms around his bare skin, feeling his pulse underneath my fingertips, burying my face in his neck, him putting my hat on his head lovingly.

God, I loved him.

---------------------------------

I realized that I was in love with Barry a few months ago.

He had begun to date Marcie, and it somewhat bothered me. At first, I thought it was because he didn't hang out with me as much.

But I got sick of hearing about how Marcie made him happy, how she held his hand, that kind of thing.

Cyd and Shelby were a different story, they had each other, plus whatever guy had their interests. Marcie was stealing him from me.

After I came to terms with my feelings, and the fact that I was gay, I tried to make sure Barry never found out.

If he knew how much I loved him, he would abandon me.

I couldn't imagine a life without Barry.

---------------------------------

I remembered that I hadn't closed the RV door, so I turned around, and did so, saying, "Hey, Barry."

I faced him again, he smiled. He was facing me, still shirtless. "Hey, Naldo."

"Why don't you have a shirt?" I asked him.

"Cyd bumped into me a few minutes ago, and I spilled something on it. I was just about to change." He showed me a dark green button up shirt, stained with something red.

I nodded and he threw it aside, putting on a grey button up.

"Does it look good?" He asked.

I nodded.

A loud banging on the RV door was accompanied by Cyd shouting, "Come on, guys! We have to go!"

Barry exited the RV, and I muttered, "You're perfect, no matter what you wear, Barry."
