Hoseok starts getting ready to go to Jin's house to make cookies. It's a tradition they do every year before Christmas. It's very fun even though it ends up with Jin's kitchen being an absolute mess. Mostly because of Taehyung and Jimin. Hoseok starts laughing to himself as he thinks of how it went last year...
"JIMIN GIVE ME THE BLUE SPRINKLES!" Taehyung yells. "NO I NEED THEM!" Jimin yells back. "Well uh that's too bad." Taehyung says as he tries to take the sprinkles. Jimin pushes Taehyung away from him. "Come on Jimin your cookies are fucking ugly anyways at least mine look nice." Taehyung ends up taking the sprinkles away but Jimin knocks them out of his hand trying to get them back and they spill all over the floor.
"Are you guys actually fucking kidding me." Jin says looked pissed as hell. Both Jimin and Taehyung immediately start blaming each other. "Uh I don't care who did it you're both gonna clean it up before my parents kill you." Taehyung and Jimin could hear everyone snickering in the background. Jin goes into the closet and grabs a broom and dustpan for them. Jimin takes the broom and Taehyung takes the dustpan.
After awhile Hoseok hears Jimin and Taehyung fighting again. "You're supposed to sweep it into the dustpan not on my shoe idiot." Taehyung says. "I honestly didn't mean too." Jimin lies trying to hide in his laughs.
Hoseok remembers how good that day was. There wasn't the usual sadness in the air in that moment and they were all just purely happy. Of course the sadness hasn't gone away. Yoongi going missing affected them all in very similar and different ways.
Jin started failing school because he stopped giving a shit and couldn't focus. But after he had to stay back in the second year Jin started doing his work to try to at least graduate with Hoseok and Namjoon.
Namjoon kinda pushed himself away from everyone for awhile. He wouldn't leave his room or talk to anyone until Jin couldn't take it anymore and forced Namjoon to talk to him. Namjoon talked about everything and Jin comforted him. It made them closer and made Namjoon a little better and start talking to everyone again.
Jungkook and Taehyung became very depressed and would start crying just at the mention of Yoongi. Namjoon convinced them both to see a therapist knowing the signs of depression and that they both might have it. Taehyung and Jungkook both still see a therapist, actually all of them do just that Taehyung and Jungkook see them more often.
Jimin stayed in his room all the time and refused to leave, just constantly crying. He stopped eating normally for awhile. He just felt like he lost all of his appetite. Eating made him feel sick most of the time. After Jimin almost passed out he chose to go to a doctor. They chose that he should go to a therapist to figure out a better way to cope with Yoongi going missing.
And Hoseok is doing the worse right now. He blames himself for Yoongi going missing because he asked him that night to hang out. If he would've never done that Yoongi would've never left the house so he wouldn't of gotten kidnapped. That one text was probably Hoseoks biggest regret of his life.
He has nightmares about Yoongi almost every night. Whether it's Yoongi getting killed, abused, kidnapped or blaming him. He also doesn't dance anymore. He misses dancing but whenever he tries to do it now he doesn't get the same feeling. It used to bring him so much joy and he truly felt alive but now he just can't bring himself to care. It feels like he's lost interest in a lot of things though.
Things that he loved to do before he can't even bring himself to care about now. All he can focus on is how to bring Yoongi back. The police gave up on the case after just over a year. Hoseok doesn't understand how they could just give up like that. They probably had enough evidence to at least have an idea of who kidnapped him or where he was. And even if they didn't why would they end the case so early?
