"How?" He asked Alex.

"Eidetic Memory!" She responded. She then controlled as much water as she could and made it lift her onto the boat. When she stepped on, she flew into her daddy's arms and hugged him as tight as she could.

Poseidon held on just as tightly to his daughter and didn't let go. He could feel the salty tears soaking into his shirt. His daughter was crying. He tightened his hold slightly.

"Don't leave me again! Please!" She cried. "It was horrible without you! Please don't leave!"

Poseidon could feel his own eyes welling up with tears. "I won't leave. Never again." He said, voice rough because of his tears. They continued to stay there for a few more minutes as their tears dried before loosening their holds. They didn't let go of each other.

"I know why you left and I don't blame you." Alex said after a while. His hold tightened again. "I remember all of the stories you told to me and I realized that I could be attacked by the monsters. So I took up all types of training and now I'm really strong. I even fought off one of those hellhounds that you kept telling me about. I had to use me circlet though. I started training with it after I found out how to use it." She said all of this through her tears. "I'm getting stronger and faster and all of those other things daddy. I'm also learning to control all of the powers I inherited from you. Like water, earthquakes, ability with horses and more. Are you proud of me?" She choked out.

Poseidon places a kiss atop of her head and gave her a smile. "I'm so proud of you darling. I'm proud that you took up training instead of lazing around. I'm proud that your using more than one type of style in fighting. I'm proud that you fought off a hellhound. I'm proud that you learned how to use your circlet and trained with it. I'm proud of everything you have done. Don't you think otherwise, okay?" He said to her.

Alex nodded against his chest and they both fell quiet. "Daddy, will you train me?" She finally broke the silence.

"Off course darling. Anything for you." He said to her.

"I love you Daddy." She spoke.

"I love you too Darling."

Time Skip

It was the end of the summer and it was time for the Jacksons to leave Montauk. Over the summer, Alex had spent most of her time with her dad training, talking, and just sitting there in each other's presence. Because of their time together, they ended up forming a bond like no other and developed a strong possessiveness over each other. The bond enabled them to feel the other's emotions and give them some power of they are exhausted. They are still trying to discover the rest. Right now, they are on Poseidon's boat talking.

"Do I have to go?" Alex asked her daddy softly. She didn't want to leave the beautiful ocean, Montauk, or her daddy.

"Sadly you do darling." Poseidon said to his daughter. They were both devastated that she had to leave. "Remember to keep practicing and studying. Don't let your grades drop and don't get too close to people. You don't want others to betray your trust. We will be able to see each other in your dreams. Watch out for monster and again, do not get close to other people. Even your family. You are MINE. Do you understand?" Poseidon asked with dark possessiveness.

Alex nodded with the same look in her eyes. "Do not let those that are underwater too far into your heart. Do not give Amphitrite any sort of pleasure by faking or giving real interest. You may let in Triton since he is your other heir but nobody else. You are also MINE. Do you understand?" She shot back to him.

"Yes, darling. I understand." He said while a smile pulled on the corner of his lips.

She nodded firmly. "Good!" She raises her voice triumphantly. She then threw her arms around her father's waist and gave him the tightest hug she could. "I'll miss you though." She murmured into his chest.

He wrapped his arms around her and gave her a big hug. "I'll also miss you. Don't ever think otherwise."

"Alex!" A female voice shouted in the distance. Both daughter and father looked at each other with crinkled noses. Sally.

"I wish she would stop calling me that." Alex said through gritted teeth. Poseidon nodded in agreement.

Finally, he sighed. "It's time for you to go I guess." He said in despair. Alex nodded in sadness. With one final hug the both of them went separate ways. Poseidon to the ocean and Alex to her mother.

We will always be together and no matter what, you are MINE. They thought. Unknowingly copying each other's thought process. I will burn the world if it would make you happy.
