Roaming the Night

It is about 8 o'clock at night on a Friday and Henry and I was walking around the school. It was the parent teacher meeting and mum forgot something so she had to go back the house to get it but she's taking a long time and the interviews are over now Henry and I have to wait so here we are walking around the school like idiots.

I was starting to get bored and started to run around Henry didn't think it was a good idea.

"Sarla don't run around what if you fall or worse!?" Henry growls

"Ok Mum." I sarcastically replied.

"Love you know that you could fall and hurt yourself." Henry said

As he stared deeply into my light brown eyes with his big dark brown eyes then I pull away. For the reason there was a huge SMASH! Just around the junior lockers.

"What was that?" Henry said while shaking.

"Oh! Don't be such a scaredy cat! It was probably just a stray cat" I complained.

"Are you sure it's probably just a stray cat." Henry responded while shaking still scared.

I knew it wasn't a stray cat due to that there is no cats around this part of the block. There are too many dogs and they are all in their houses and if there was a stray animal the dogs would be barking madly. It is now 9:30pm and were are still at school scared and worried anything could happen there are plenty of noises I never knew people could be so busy at night. Why won't they go home and sleep.

"Henry! Do you want to go and see if Mum is at the parking area?" I said eagerly.

"Ok, come on lets go then." Henry responded.

Henry and I arrived at the parking spot and there Mum was waiting in the car.

"Oh! Wait I need to get my books that I need for homework." I said as I realised.

"Ok fine be quick." Henry said impatiently.

I ran back to my locker area when I looked down all I could see was an empty dark space. I thought to myself the lockers look a lot spookier at night. Suddenly out of nowhere a really big Wooroloo Wooroloo then I thought to myself Oh it's just the wind blowing on the walls from outside. I opened my locker and got my English book and Maths book then closed my locker and walked out into the dark where the playgrounds were still nobody was there and the oval was pitch black like the night sky with no stars. When this CRASH! All my books fall out of my hand and form behind me I hear this "GOTCH YA!" I look up and see Henry.

"JEEZ HENRY! Don't play games I nearly had a heart attack! I screamed at him trying to hold back my tears and trying to stop shaking.

"Oh! Don't be such a scaredy cat and by the way you were taking a long time." Henry yapped back to me.

Both of us walked back to the car and on the way everything reminded me of when my sister and I were playing in the back yard at night pretending to be lost and we had to find our way back. When we got back to the car we all went home and had a sleep. First we went to Henry's home so he could get his clothes so he can stay over for the night then we all went back to my house and went to bed.
