This was the first time someone had actually liked me. I was overjoyed that I had finally found someone who would like me back. Obviously desperate, I said yes when you asked me out. I wasn't just desperate though- never think that. I was really happy and to be honest, I was waiting a long time for a kiss that was never going to meet my lips. Even though it was awkward, I genuinely enjoyed spending time with you at school, after school, during the weekends and whenever we were together. I loved your hugs and I miss them so much. I wish to hug you, even if it's just as a friend. But those days are long gone.
