( summary )

The Gaskarth siblings never fit in with the 'popular' crowd, but they still had a pretty solid group of best friends. Alex, the oldest, rules the outcast side of the school with his pretty-in-punk girlfriend and his three troublemaking buddies in a fashion that makes the whole group turn to him. Haley, the middle child and a junior, has her own problems to worry about while she and her best friend navigate the unsteady waters of trying to climb up the social ladder, without hurting their friends and family. And Janelle, the youngest as a sophomore, knew she already had a perfect future mapped out with her senior boyfriend and her two best friends. 

But when the Summers boys arrive, all three of them start to question the way things are as they each grow closer to a different one, in different ways. The four brothers, who were quickly adopted into the friend group, might cause everything to shift for the original members when one boy sends a smile in the direction of the wrong girl, and another starts to lose himself to reality when he can't figure out why he's falling for one of the snobbiest girls he's ever met. 

And it all started the day Janelle Gaskarth did something unforgettable.

Okay so I know I've really fvcked up everyone's ages and some other things (i.e. relationships, etc.), but it's an AU, and it's actually pretty necessary to the plot. And the summary is also absolute sh!t, so sorry for that. I've had this circling around my brain for maybe two years now, and I really enjoy exploring this idea, and thought I'd share it with you guys. Also, the next chapter will be the cast/characters.
