"Hmm... Let's look..."

Apparently time was a thing in the end, and apparently it was morning, since the breakfast menu was the only thing on the board on the wall. Two other boards were below it, on the floor and leaning against the wall. They might be the lunch and dinner menus.

"Pancakes?" Kat asked.
"We have pancakes," the cashier answered, preparing the machine in front of them to press buttons.

"Hm. I'll have two pancakes and an egg."
"How would you like your egg?" The cashier pressed some buttons.

"Uh, scrambled please."
"And would you like any toppings on your pancakes?" More pressed buttons.

"Uh, strawberries and maple syrup."
"Okay. And you, sir?" They asked, pressing a few more buttons. The subtotal of 4 Endercoins appeared on the boxy machine.

Seto didn't even realize they were talking, nor did he realize the cashier asked what he wanted.

"Psst, they asked what you wanted." Kat half whispered to Seto with a smirk on her face.
"Oh! I was looking at the menu." He lightly facepalmed himself.

"What would you like?" The cashier asked again.

"Oh, um, I'll have hash browns and eggs."
"How would you like your egg?"
"Hard boiled."
"Okay. Any extra toppings?"
"Uh, I'll come back up here later if I need any."
"Okay." The cashier finished pressing buttons and turned the machine. The total was 7 Endercoins.

"Here is the pen to sign on the register." They handed the pen to Seto. He took it and signed "Seto" in the box space that wanted his signature.

The cashier took the pen back and turned the register to press more buttons.

"Your total is 7 Endercoins." The cashier said.

Seto patted his pockets. "Ah, forgot the wallet that has my Endercoins in it. Do you take cash?" He winked at Kat, letting her know he was lying.

"Unfortunately, no. But, there is a cash-to-Endercoins place a couple of blocks down. You might be able to trade some of your money for Endercoins." The cashier said.

"Okay then, we'll be right back to pay you." He started for the door, then stopped and asked, "what street is the place on?"
"Birdman Avenue."
"Oh, okay. I know where that is. Thanks!"
"No problem."

He started for the door and beckoned Kat to follow. Seto opened the door for Kat, and she went through.

"Hmm... Birdman Avenue... Birdma- ah, there!" He pointed to the tall street sign with the green rectangle on top that said Birdman Avenue.

They turned onto Birdman Avenue and walked down the street. Seto saw the strange building first.

"I'm guessing that's it?"
"Because it's the weirdest one on the block?"
"You got me."
"Hehehe."

Seto jogged over to the ugly green building and stopped in front of it. On the door, it said:
